I booked my stay, jungle trek and transfer with The Jungle Guide and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my 4 month trip. The staff were incredibly nice and very good singers. The accommodation was clean and exactly what you want before and after the trek, with a nice balcony and hammock. The trek itself was incredible. Bob is the best guide and helped me safely through the jungle, with much expertise about the wildlife, jungle and local culture. He knew fun facts and of course the amazing viewings of the animals such as Orang-utans, and views. Could have wished for a better guide! The accommodation in the jungle was basic but had all necessities, and a nice stream to cool off, and the food was so good.

Mila Homestay di Padang terletak 10km dari Siti Nurbaya Bridge dan menawarkan penginapan berhawa-dingin dengan WiFi percuma, serta akses kepada teres. I recently stayed alone at “Mila Homestay.” From the moment I arrived, I experienced the extraordinary hospitality of the homestay's owner and manager, Dila and her husband, Michel. I arrived rather late that day, because my flight from Jakarta was delayed. I was immediately offered a complimentary dinner with martabak, which of course I gladly accepted. The room I stayed in was not very large, but comfortable with good air conditioning, stable and strong wifi, and a bathroom with hot water. Mila Homestay is located a bit on the outskirts of Padang, but that didn't matter because it was actually enjoyable to take a morning walk in the rice fields and local villages behind the homestay. I will definitely stay at Mila Homestay again if next time I go to Padang!

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking mempunyai taman, kawasan pantai peribadi, teres dan restoran di Bukit Lawang. Best place to stay in Bukit Lawang!! Beautiful location right on the river, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, a retreat from the busy-ness of town. It is only a short motorbike ride into town, and you can walk ~10 mins to get to an alfamart/indomaret. I did 2 days jungle trekking with Andi who was a great guide. We saw lots of orangutans and other wildlife, and he shared a lot of great information about the jungle. I went with a group and he was very attentive with the guests and everyone's different needs and comfort levels with the hiking. Dika, Dedek, and the rest of the family were so friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything, and make an amazing breakfast which is included. Andi arranged a car to and from the airport. Wifi was functional most of the time, which was helpful because I spent a lot of time working remotely in the restaurant. Bed in my room was very firm and comfortable, which is important to note because some different guesthouses where I've stayed have had very squishy, sinking beds. Bathroom has good showerhead water pressure, a western style toilet, and bidet. They provide toilet paper if needed. Towels also provided. Screens on windows prevent mosquitos from getting inside, and there is a fan inside the room for when it gets hot. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and a family business that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

Dengan pemandangan taman, Orangutan Treks Villa & Eco-Friendly Jungle Trekking Activities terletak di Timbanglawang dan mempunyai restoran, khidmat bilik, bar, taman dan teres. I very much enjoyed my stay here. I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.

Dah check in bilik ni akan tinggal bersama dgn tuan rumah sekali dan berkongsi tandas.tiada privacy sepenuhnya kerana ada lelaki asing tinggal bersama.tangga untuk ke tingkat atas sgt berbahaya untuk kanak kanak.keadaan katil sangat usang.bila dah check out ada kerosakan pd kaki katil kami kena tnggung kerugian sebanyak rm 100 ribu rupiah..di sini tiada buffets. Sarapan pg .mereka hnya menyediakan lotong utk sarapan pagi tnpa sebarang minuman.dan tidak berbaloi bayar pakej bilik +sarapan..kawasan terpecil dan meyeramkan.tiada kedai makan di sekitar..Tempat ni di atas bukit.jauh dari penempatan orang
