The owners of the hotel, a family, are very friendly. The food was homemade and delicious with a lot of choice. The rooms are very clean, tidy, there are absolutely no strange odors, and it smells like wood since most of the interior of the hotel is made of wood in the Euro style. I was amazed by all this after many nights at home stay of Ladakh. However, most of all I was amazed by the beautiful garden of various flowers near  hotel De Khama. I have travelled a lot throughout Ladakh and I stayed with many families in home stays, but I have never seen such a magnificent garden with flowers in the deep Himalayas near the houses of local people. Well done! I wish them prosperity and all the best! Of course, I recommend it 100%, if you are traveling in the Nubra Valley, stay overnight in Sumur, in this beautiful hotel De Khamа.

Lovely place with a beautiful garden and a great location. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it for a few more days. The owners are incredibly helpful—when I fell sick on our second night in Leh, they took me to the hospital in the middle of the night. We are truly grateful for everything.

Beautiful rooms, not only warm but hot (!) showers, comfy beds, very good and rich breakfast! Quiet at night. City center is in walking distance. Once we enjoyed dinner on site, which was delicious. We travelled individually without pre-booked tour, so we had to organize a lot on site. The host helped us brilliantly with this. We could not have imagined anything better. Many thanks again for the wonderful time and your help with our organization!

Himalayan Regal House offre un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza e un ristorante a Deskit. I literally liked everything there. The staff were really welcoming and helpful, particularly Anshu and the other guy whose name I do not remember. They did their best. A dinner buffet was amazing and really tasty. If I had the opportunity to come back, I’d choose this homestay again with no hesitation.

Pulito, letti comodi e cibo ottimo. Staff cordiale e disponibile per la risoluzione di qualsiasi problema. Posizione tranquilla lontano dal caos del centro ma a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal mercato Le camere con balcone hanno una bellissima vista sullo Tsemo Castle.

A 900 metri da Shanti Stupa, Lhachik Guest House propone sistemazioni con una sala comune, una terrazza e una cucina in comune, che fa sempre comodo. I had an excellent experience staying at Lhachik Guesthouse. I had only planned to stay for a few days prior to trekking, but do to an injury ended up staying for about weeks and am very happy I did. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. They have a comfortable rooftop with great views and good chai is always available. Dinner is available at a reasonable price and is excellent. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. It is located in a tranquil neighborhood within close walking distance to everything of interest. It will be the first place I look to stay next time I am in Leh.

Struttura bella in zona tranquilla un po’ fuori dal centro. Il proprietario è tutto il suo staff estremamente disponibili e cordiali. Struttura pulita camere spaziose con balcone. Colazione buona ma migliorabile.

Posizionato a Leh, a 1,6 km da Shanti Stupa e 900 metri da Soma Gompa, Raku mette a disposizione un giardino e il WiFi gratuito, oltre a un parcheggio privato gratuito per chi viaggia in auto. La struttura è curatissima, immersa in un rigoglioso e fiorito giardino, con orto e vista sulle montagne innevate. le stanze sono nuove, pulitissime, bagni immacolati con doccia calda, letti confortevoli e posizione silenziosa perchè non dà sulla strada. Colazioni servite nella veranda, ottime, sostanziose e preparate con cura al momento. Questa guesthouse è a conduzione familiare: ci tengo a ringraziare tutti i componenti della famiglia che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa, rispondendo tempestivamente a qualunque richiesta e sono stati particolarmente premurosi nell’assistermi quando ho avuto qualche problema con l’acclimatamento.
