Excellent bed. I had not slept that well for many years. Pillows are down tyoe and so relaxing. Bed will not move even when your partner turns in bed. The room layout is modern and well throught. Quiet environment. Curtains block the light perfectly well. Community area with good coffee, microwave, oven, ample space to eat and relax outside of your room.

The room is big enough, clean, and comfortable. The view from the room is also quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for both the city center and the JR station.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. • Onsen : The best I've tried so far (together with Gero). Has a really nice smell (unlike Beppu lol) and the temperature is perfect. There are also many different separate onsen baths which you can have for yourself for 1 hour if you ask. • Food : Overall great, standard Kaiseki meal (served in a dining room where each room is separated by a small movable wooden wall) • Staff : Very helpful and gave me the option to opt out of my room and go for a smaller one (cheaper) since my friend cancelled last moment and I ended up alone. • Location : As you can imagine, a great natural onsen is often in the countryside, you do have a bus that goes from Aso station (Kumamoto) all the way to Hakata station (Fukuoka) which stops by Kurokawa which is helpful. The ryokan's staff also pick you up at the bus stop if you inform them of your arrival time.

The room was clean and large, with all the amenities we needed, bath, shower, basic cooking etc. Our hosts were awesome and recommended an amazing private onsen spot. Can’t recommend them enough. Just wish we could have stayed longer. The Kumamoto region is stunning.

We like everything at this guest house. Rie, the owner is the best! She is friendly, providing best service, warm-welcomed, helpful and provide us tons of good information and recommendations. She also helps us with Universal Adapter and reserving Izakaya Restaurant. The room is comfy and the place is located in tiny town which is really lovely.

Το hostel+cafe たね είναι σε Hōgano, σε απόσταση 43 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Mount Aso και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi and δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. We had an amazing time and evening with them and the other guests. We also were helped out with a vegeterian dinner since the restaurants nearby did not offer such an option. Our unexpected highlight of the trip!

It’s a very beautiful house with an amazing and welcoming owner! We loved the location and the room, very big and as described! We will be back! Furthermore, the two cats around the hostel are just so wonderful it makes the experience even better.

Το 藤のヴィラ パイン棟 Self Check-in είναι ένα κατάλυμα με κήπο και βεράντα. Every thing. The property is well taken care. The owner provided everything we need. All facilities are in good condition. Despite that we do not understand Japanese, the owner has a translation note in English on most of the equipment.
