The owners were very friendly and they even gave us Japanese alcohol (their dogs were adorable as well). The onsen was clean and very relaxing.

Especially the Japanese style tatami room we really enjoyed. We never waited once for toilet or shower use the whole time we were there. The kitchen area was inviting and great to work from. The staff were very kind, and even though we had a misunderstanding at the beginning of our stay, in the end, everyone was very nice. Everything is quite close in Aizu to the hotel, the only downside is how far it is from the main station.

I also enjoyed the tasty apple juice. I would have liked to stay more there.
