The room was clean, modern, well equipped, comfortable and spacious by Japanese standards. Lovely breakfast with lots to choose from. Very close to the station which was why we chose it as a stop off location. A pity we didn't have time to use the spa.

It was truly a stunning location that left me with an indescribable feeling. The walk there was breathtaking, and everything was so clean and beautiful. The hosts were incredibly sweet and welcoming! As a first-time solo traveler who was quite anxious, I was amazed at how the environment instantly put me at ease. They were also so helpful in planning my time/transportation in Nanto, making my experience even more enjoyable and stress free. I felt so comfortable and cozy that I don’t even remember falling asleep after my long day of exploring :) The food was also absolutely delicious, and I was genuinely sad to leave.

Weniger als 43 km von Burg Kanazawa und 43 km von Garten Kenroku-en entfernt in Nanto gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft Minshuku Goyomon Zimmer in Nanto. Everything! From the picture-perfect location to the amazing hospitality of our minshuku hosts. Despite the language barrier, our hosts were prompt in meeting our every need. Every meal was delicious and prepared with love and care. The sleeping area was traditional Japanese whereas the bathroom was modern, so we had both a cultural immersion and modern comforts. We were a family of 5 so we had the entire minshuku to ourselves. This is the most special stay we had in our 2-week holiday in Japan. There is something magical about spending the night in Ainokura, and we are thankful for having had the privilege.

The Japanese house, with its spacious 120 m², is very welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a natural and sustainable style. Bright, full of light, and featuring restored wood details, it also has a vintage HiFi stereo system that sounds absolutely wonderful. The bathroom was spacious with two individual showers, and the bedroom was perfectly quiet, equipped with a brand-new air conditioner. The host was very kind and friendly—she recommended all the wonderful places I visited nearby. Thanks to her advice, I enjoyed a fantastic restaurant just 12 minutes away on foot, where a talented chef served exquisite dishes in a minimalist setting with a table overlooking a zen garden, all at a very reasonable price. On my way back, I followed her recommendation to stop at a cocktail bar 8 minutes from the house, walking along the illuminated riverside. The place was like stepping into a movie set—the interior design was a true work of art, with more than 80 bourbons and an extensive selection of cocktails. The next morning, following her guidance again, I had breakfast in a café walking only 6 minutes, a former fisherman’s warehouse beautifully renovated. They served excellent coffee, cakes, and sandwiches—the perfect spot to start the day or work with a laptop. In summary, my stay at Yanafu was wonderful. The 120 m² house is warm and cozy, and with the host’s thoughtful recommendations, I could enjoy unique and unforgettable places within walking distance. Ideal for families, groups, and also for romantic couples, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I will definitely return often.
