Beautiful property run by the most amazingly welcoming and accommodating family. I would highly recommend to anyone driving from Marrakech to the desert, this is a great half way point. We had our own car and their parking is great. It is outside of the main town but this is to its benefit, the rooms and terrace have an amazing view over the river bed and the mountains. Also I would highly recommend dinner at the riad, the food is lovely. Breakfast was also really yummy - Berber options and European options including the most delicious home made yogurt. Thanks again Omar and team, we had a lovely stay.

Situato a Zagora, il Riad Soleil du Monde offre un ristorante e la connessione WiFi gratuita. Con vista giardino, le camere dispongono di aria condizionata e bagno privato con doccia. Paradise! :) What a beautiful place. We stayed here one night with 2 kids, but we could have stayed a week! The hosts were so welcoming and very friendly, always making sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Also, the food was delicious both at dinner as breakfast. Beds are comfortable with cosy blankets for the colder nights. We will come back!

Costruito con materiali naturali e adagiato sulle alture della Catena Montuosa dell'Atlante, a 15 minuti di auto da Tinghir, l'Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge è un hotel ecosostenibile che offre una... Incredibile dormire in una grotta all’interno della gola del todra! Già solo arrivare alla struttura vale il viaggio… poi lo staff ti accoglie alla grande con il classico the di benvenuto fatto con le erbe del loro orto… cena ottima… hanno anche improvvisato una torta di frutta e mousse al cioccolato per mia figlia che compiva gli anni! La camera era naturalmente calda e super silenziosa! Materasso comodo e doccia calda e con una ottima pressione!

Questa struttura si trova nel vecchio villaggio di Ait-Ben-Haddou, una fortezza di sabbia a 30 km da Ouarzazate. Location, design, decor, staff! An exceptionally special stay in this historic village. 8 rooms, each unique, each with a view and/or a terrace. Staff very accommodating- it was a very cold spell and they made sure we had heat in our room. Each common room of the hotel was a masterpiece, the cave-like ‘family room’ to the dining area and terraces. Breakfast was also exceptional taste of the region and plentiful. Because it is a UNESCO site there is very limited power. Charging is done in a central area by reception. All lights are out at night to conserve. Knowing this ahead allows you to plan accordingly. Parking for 20 dirhams in someone’s gated yard worked well. Hotel has this dialed in and it’s a good way just be sure you are paying the property owner and not someone on the street acting like it’s theirs. Sunset from the top, sunrise from the eastern knob, or from the hotel terrace.

Since our flight was delayed, we came very late to this accomodation, around 1 AM. And even then, our host Solaiman was waiting for us with a warm dinner. He is a great guy and I want to thank him for making our short stay in Skoura very special. The room itself was very clean with fresh towels and working AC. Heritage House has a really nice garden with a lovely terrace, where we had a delicious breakfast. The location is a bit tricky (you go through a really narrow streets if you make a wrong turn), but Soleiman on his bike helped us and accompanied us through the beautiful old Skoura. The stay was short and really special thanks to Solaiman.
