We loved our stay at Araw and even extended for two more nights. The location is perfect, it’s near the main street with restaurants, supermarkets, ATM and gas station, but still in a quiet area. The place was always kept clean and the common spaces were really nice. Since it’s a newer homestay, there are some minor things to be improved, such as keeping a stock of toilet paper and a drying rack covered from rain, specifically during the wet season. However, the host, John, made a huge difference, he was always very accommodating to our needs, gave us a lot of tips to explore the island (and even a discount for a nice cafe). He also rented cute scooters for a really good price.

What I love the most is that you can request an early bird breakfast if you need to leave the hotel early to join some tours. I love the cozy ambiance of the room, it is spacious. Patricia made sure that we were taken care of. The property is located just beside the famous Cloud 9 Boardwalk.

It was in a great location with lots of restaurants and shops just a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location itself is quiet and beautiful but walking distance to a lot of restaurants, bars, shops etc. Would definitely stay here again
