The accommodations were cozy and well-maintained, blending perfectly with the serene environment. The owner, Tomás, a friendly and welcoming, made the stay even more special with his warm hospitality and enthusiasm for the island. Roça Saudade is in the Almada Negreiros Museum also... So it's the perfect place to stay in the center of the island. Joaquim (from roça) and Emanuel (from the restaurant) are amazing hosts. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

People in the community are very friendly, local bar recommended to experience the vibes. Hosts Sara, her brother and Joao will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. This is an exceptional place to stay it is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, the views are spectacular and you fall asleep lullabied by the ocean. My favourtie place in a two week trip to STP. The staff are very helpful and Tiziano the owner is so great and was on hand to help with planning. The food was also delicious.
