Great place to stay, in an exceptional environnement, surrounded by plants. Very spacious living room, very well equipped kitchen; cooking is easy. There are 3 bedrooms, each having its own bathroom! Outside are two small covered wooden terraces plus a table with chairs and umbrella. The owner is very kind and helpful. We can only recommend this place.

Super nice hosts! They were so welcoming and friendly and showed us around the place! The shared kitchen & bathrooms were super clean and the little cabin was super comfortable and cozy. We even had a smaller toilet close to the cabin, which was perfect! The location is perfect, you‘re only a 20 minutrs drive from Coromandel and it‘s a great starting point for the Coromandel Coastal Walkway in the north. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!

We enjoyed waking up and having breakfast and tea on the deck watching the occasional car go by the hill and hearing the birds. A really nice remote bush house to get away for the weekend from busy work life. Really helps you relax and just enjoy the moment. We loved that there are no other houses nearby so you can enjoy nature to it fullest. You can explore the bush out back and there are some cool looking tree vines. Showers are renovated and we enjoyed taking a morning hot shower. For bedding do be careful on one of the beds as if you get up from one side it may tilt if the other person is still sleeping on the other side of the bed. There are plenty of blankets and bedding provided. The toilet long drop was a new experience and you can even leave the door open as no one can look in. So a cool experience. It would have been nice to have a toilet indoors though. Overall a cool place to just relax in nature without any other houses.

Spa pool was great and the location was perfect. Scooters made it easy to get around. Allowing dogs made it easier aswell

We were all blown away when we reached the property. The house is filled with charm, history, and as my niece said this feels like a real family home. It had everything you need as far as amenities and was so peaceful. Absolutely amazing waking to the sounds of Tui’s. This was the perfect place to stay and only wished we had time to stay longer. The upstairs and downstairs were very nice, clean and spacious. The upstairs bathroom looks newly remodeled. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the house.
