The views are spectacular, still it’s close to Gjirokastër. The room and breakfast were perfect, food was so delicious. But what makes this place special is the people - we had a problem with the car, we had a flat tire and a dead battery and they gave it all to help us - even managed to open a closed car repair nearby to bring us a new tire and found a guy who could load the battery. The hospitality was truly unmatched. We would like to recommend this place to everyone who’s looking for the best experience possible. Hope to see you guys again!

The furniture in the apartment is fascinating and it felt like taking a step back in time to stay there. It is a very spacious place to stay too. Access to the old bazaar is mere minutes. The view from the back door of the mountains is wonderful and as it was summer when we stayed the wonderful breeze that blew through the property when you opened the back door was a welcome feeling. I loved that the hosts were so attentive to our needs and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Although we could not speak a common language, we used Google translate to communicate and have long conversations. The breakfast (paid extra) was a huge spread and generously put together . The host constantly checked in with us to see if we needed anything. It felt more like home than a guest house. I will be recommending Isaraj Guest House to my friends and other fellow travellers.

The place is very clean and comfortable, amazing food and hospitality. I enjoyed my stay a lot. I came by bus. The place is not in the centre of Tepelene - without a car I couldn't get to Tepelene - the host Ilir brought me there.

It is extremely modern, everything is very clean and stylishly furnished in a minimalist style. The view in the restaurant (where you also have breakfast) of the valley with the river is simply breathtaking, I enjoyed the view every time I sat there! We had the second cheapest room category but were still absolutely satisfied, I especially liked the bathroom with the rain shower. Beds also very comfortable and big! The restaurant (where you can also eat as a non-hotel guest) is also very good, I found especially the fries delicious, they were more like potato wedges and totally crispy and well seasoned! The best thing is of course the access to the river from the hotel: The water is so clear and totally pleasant (we were there in mid-June, when it was the perfect temperature), there are small rocks you can jump from and lots of sun loungers with parasols I would come here again at any time and next time I would plan a few more days!
