The property is set in a stunning area. Whilst Switzerland in general is extremely picturesque, you cannot beat the views which are on your door stop. You are set on Lake Zug with views of the surrounding mountains. Whilst slightly off the beaten track it is easy accessible with the train station a short 5 minute walk away with good connections. Not that you’d know because you don’t hear the trains! You can swim in the pool or take a swim in the lake or even better… paddle boarding! The outdoor area is well decorated with the sun setting down throughout the day. The property itself is designed for couples but is well designed, clean and modern. The host is happy to be contacted throughout the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again despite being on the pricier side which I think is currently a fair value.

Just a 2-minute walk from the shore of Lake Zug and 1 km from Zug Train Station, Youth Hostel Zug offers WiFi access in public areas. I liked the attitude of the staff. it was raining and I was tired from the road, tea could only be taken at dinner, which was over, but the man at the reception offered me free tea. that was very kind of him! Thank you very much, it warmed me up! This is the third time I have stayed in this hostel and, as always, everything is impeccable! magical mattress, cozy bedding, cleanliness!
