The property is beautiful- amazing view, easy to navigate, lots of wildlife. Close to town but without any of the noise, it is secluded and peaceful. The owners are very friendly and take care to be responsive and helpful. Their homemade breakfast is delicious.

I stayed at Casita de Flores (the one-bedroom cottage). It was beautiful. The decor and layout were great and perfect for one person. There's AC, not fan, which is appreciated. Also, the grounds are lovely, very cultural and intimate. The owner Kim showed us around and gave a tour of the two-bedroom cottage and the area. It's Black owned (from an American woman), which I liked and wanted to support. I'm glad I did.

Primo and his family are lovely people and were very helpful to make our trip a very nice stay for us as family with two teenage daughters. Everything was perfect. We were well taken care of from the moment, we arrived to La Pavona, as the boat company knew about our arrival and had our names. The accomodation even arranged our transfer to Cahuita (boat and taxi), which worked out well. The apartment exeeded every expectation. Huge open space, wonderful views to Tortuguero canal with sliding doors/windows to let the outside atmosphere in. The whole space was very clean, warm shower, safe, garderobe for clothes, dining an writing table, full sized fridge, double airconditioning, and even a bathtube with view. The bed was very comfortable, the linen was good quality. In town everything was in walking distance, and the whole area was astonishing. If we ever return to Costa Rica, we would definitely stay here again.

I was welcomed by the friendly daughter Anelka of the owner . 2 rooms and one living room kitchen. All very clean and modern. In each room one double and one single bed very comfortable, air condition, ventilator. The bathroom is large. Hot shower. Toiletries. Large modern kitchen well equipped with induction hob, microwave, coffee filter machine and a lot of plates, glasses . One sofa in the living room. TV. Strong Wifi . They answer quickly to WhatsApp messages. The owner leaves next door. They largely deserve 10.
