Best part of our stay, two dinners & one lunch we had at King Jamaica restaurant, on River, where the jetty lands for the island ie 10 mts walk. superb Nile views, great Fish & succulent beef meals. No alchohol, value for money, great music.

You have to stay here if you want peace, really good food, place out of this world. People are very friendly, the owner welcome to us and explain a lot of great details from the place. We didn’t eat and he offer us the best meal we ever had from their garden. We leave very early to our cruise and they arrange the transport and also give us a lunch box. We hope we can come back soon. The view of our room was amazing, we love every detail from the room. The bed was very comfortable!

The breakfast and dinner was brilliant, fresh ingredients and food with good value for money. The staff was also very polite, helpful and friendly. Very good hospitality and would highly recommend it.

We had a great stay and felt very welcomed in Nuba Heart. Lovely staff who were always attentive and have always went above and beyond helping us with everything - from organizing our tours to preparing us breakfast. We also recommend the dinner which is very tasty and plenty of serving. The fish plus the spicy sauce on our last night was really good. Midian, one of the staff, and now our new friend, will make you feel safe and at home. he toured us around the neighbourhood with his friends where we had a true authentic Nubian experience. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Aswan. The owner was also very kind and made sure we were always looked after. Overall, we loved our time!

I have been to Aswan three times before and even to this Nubian village before and I find myself asking, HOW did we miss this hotel before? I planned to stay there with two friends, but their flight was cancelled so I ended up staying there on my own. I wish I knew about this little gem on previous trips! Forget about the fancy hotels! This is a genuine piece of Nubian HEAVEN! In typical Nubian fashion, the hotel and all communal areas are painted in beautiful, bright, happy colors. You can't help but LOVE it! The staff are out of this world and meet and greet you with a warmth that you will be hard pressed to find on a continent other than Africa! The domed ceilings in the rooms are such a part of the Nubian architectural style and there are gorgeous murals painted inside the rooms. I was blessed enough to see a Nubian wedding, while sipping wine on the banks of the Nile river. And the breakfast was humungous! In the morning, I'm glad I had enough time to shop in the village. It is well managed and very clean. Our room had a balcony and private bathroom. Food is fresh and tasty. The Jamaica Guest House is a family business that is on a quiet island and on top of an adjacent relaxing café downhill. Ferry trips frequency to mainland are roughly every 10 minutes; and private boats can be arranged. The manager helped us with our beautiful to Abu Simbel Temples tour 😍 and have given us guidance to other tours. Th guest house is less than 30 minutes from Aswan International Airport and less than 10 minutes from Aswan Train Station.
