Lots of nice hot springs nearby, and beautiful walks right on your doorstep. The cottage is well equipped, the peace and quiet is fantastic and the views just carry on forever. Worth coming to the Western Fjords just for this experience!

This hotel, opened in June 2013, is situated along the coast in Patreksfjordur, a fishing village in Iceland’s Westfjords. It offers an à la carte restaurant with a bar and daily breakfast buffet. The room was really clean and the shower was roomy. Bed was so comfortable. Had a fridge which is a nice bonus on a road trip with perishable items. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great....it had all the things. The staff at the front desk were sincerely friendly and helpful.
