The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

It was pouring rain the day I arrived, so parked myself at the spa for 3 hours and had by far the best Ayurvedic treatments I had on my entire trip. Overall accommodations and spa were a luxurious experience that didn't break the bank.

The food was great. They make the best safari tours and we felt that they are much better than the other operators. The vehicles are perfect for photographers and wildlife lovers and the guides are very knowledgeable and will do the impossible so you don't miss your chance at seeing leopards, bears and elephants. Highly recommend

I spent three nights at Oleena Homestay and had an amazing experience. Jeewa provided great recommendations for things to do in the area, helped organise transport, and even took me on a day trip to Pidurangala and Dambulla in his tuk tuk. The home-cooked meals by Masha were absolutely delicious — a perfect introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Jeewa and Masha truly went above and beyond to take care of their guests. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Habarana and the surrounding area. The kindness and the hospitality of the owners, which helped us arranging everything at every hour of the day. They gave us a lot of advices about dinner places, ayurvedic massage and proper tuktuk fares. The breakfast was abundant and the owner took us to several places with his own tuktuk at an excellent fare. We felt like home!

Το Rock Villa Relax City Resort βρίσκεται σε Mihintale και είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στο βουνό. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα, μπαρ, κήπο, βεράντα και παιδική χαρά. It was our best accommodation in 4 weeks in Sri Lanka! We stayed in a separated little cottage, was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, it's situated upon the little rock,so you feel the air, and it was not humid, nice garden and absolutely delicious breakfast ( you can order what you wish) and evening meals at a cosy terrace!! And of course wonderful friendly personal, very helpful and sweet! Also important for travellers- free of charge water bottles and !! making your laundry!! Super recommended!!! PS : you can rent the bikes to go to the temples and around the lakes,with we did and liked it so much!

We had the absolute best stay at Mutu Village. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Pearl of The Jungle private tree house on the property. Sameera and his staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed 2 dinners and breakfast each morning- the food was absolutely wonderful… would highly recommend for this alone. Our treehouse was quiet and extremely comfortable. The open air bathroom was nice and clean. We would live at the Mutu village if we could!

The place is way beyond every expectation and the hosts are the most amazing couple we could ever meet! I would need an entire book to list everything that impressed us positively. The accomodation is really cozy and super comfortable and the setting is magical, really quiet and immerse in nature. The breakfast, all home made, was delicious and Dammika was incredibly kind to come and pick us up at the train station. Will never recommend this place enough, I’m so thankful! Can’t wait to come back
