Very friendly staff, arranged a tuk-tuk for me from Hatton station and back. Both drivers showed me exceptional places for photos, stopped along the way and gave me time to take photos and enjoy the beautiful view. the rooms are excellent for this price range, there is hot water and everything you need, everything is clean. Located in a couple of hundred meters from the start of the trail to Adam's Peak, the climb took only about 2 hours 15 minutes. Happy with everything - definitely would recommend it. Sorry for photos of the wild, didn’t take any picture at the hotel, was in a little hurry.

I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Barnes cottage menawarkan penginapan di Nuwara Eliya, 3.8km dari Tasik Gregory dan 11km dari Hakgala Botanical Garden. This place was so cosy, it has a fireplace in the bedroom and it was so nice to have it lit at night. There’s also a living living area where I was able to work from (although the internet worked well only for the first day, I was able to hotspot from my phone). There’s a tv you can access YouTube on. Really nice shower with hot water. Cool location at the top of a misty hill, although we did have our own transport which helped. Lovely helpful owners.

The manager and the Chef became our assistants and friends for all the days of our stay. The chef prepares delicious and varied food. They always ask you what you want to eat and they can cook anything. Very clean rooms, beautiful architecture of the building (inside and outside). Just a great view from the window! The view opens onto the mountains and tea plantations, and the loggia has a comfortable place to relax with a table, chairs and swings. The rooms are very spacious! There is a sauna (steam bath), after hiking in the mountains, that's it! The staff is very caring, friendly and helpful. We stayed here to make it easier to get to Adam's Peak. The staff made us sandwiches and coffee for the trip, and they were always in touch with us. There's also a cool karaoke music system, and one of the guys found us a guitar and we sang together! There are also board games. We recommend it to everyone!
