Situated 5 minutes walk to Adam's Peak in Nallathanniya, Queens Ark features free WiFi access and free private parking. Certain units feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Absolutely huge room, spotlessly clean, lovely balcony. Hot shower, really kind host, and convenient check out time so after Adams Peak we could come back shower and snooze. They'd also set out tea and coffee at 2:15am for us before the hike up. Would really recommend.

Hugging Clouds is situated in Maskeliya, 33 km from Nuwara Eliya. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. There is a shared lounge at the property. The room was very tidy and clean. It had a nice balcony on an amazing landscape. The bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and kind, they perfectly described the way to reach Adams Peak. The common area is cosy and welcoming, a place where relax and chill after the hike.

Most kind person I met in Sri Lanka. He even provided me with coffee and and some snacks for the hike to Adams Peak. A real genuine person. Loved the food as well. 10/10 recommend.

The owners were so kind and gave us a warm and heartfelt welcome. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of. They even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were feeling comfortable. Their kindness really stood out. The location was fantastic, with a perfect view and a beautiful sunrise. We can only highly recommend Avocado City Guest!

It's small family biznes and all family cared for us like for their own. Very tasty breakfast. Localisation is good. Maybe it's not in the centre of the town but it's quiet and you have 15 min walk to beautiful waterfall.

I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

We had an amazing experience staying at Barnes Cottage in Nuwara Eliya. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, just a short distance from Lovers Leap Waterfall and around 8–10 minutes from Nuwara Eliya town. Horton Plains was also conveniently nearby, which made our hiking plans easy. The host was incredibly caring and friendly—we felt truly looked after throughout our stay. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and came with a lovely wooden fireplace that added such a cozy touch, especially during the cold weather. A special thanks to the host for going above and beyond when my girlfriend twisted her leg while hiking in Horton Plains. It was raining heavily and freezing cold that day, and the host kindly helped us by lighting up the fireplace and making the room warm and comfortable for her to rest and recover. That level of care meant a lot to us. Overall, I would highly recommend Barnes Cottage to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. The hospitality, location, and comfort make it a place worth returning to!

Very friendly and helpful staff! The manager and the Chef became our assistants and friends for all the days of our stay. The chef prepares delicious and varied food. They always ask you what you want to eat and they can cook anything. Very clean rooms, beautiful architecture of the building (inside and outside). Just a great view from the window! The view opens onto the mountains and tea plantations, and the loggia has a comfortable place to relax with a table, chairs and swings. The rooms are very spacious! There is a sauna (steam bath), after hiking in the mountains, that's it! The staff is very caring, friendly and helpful. We stayed here to make it easier to get to Adam's Peak. The staff made us sandwiches and coffee for the trip, and they were always in touch with us. There's also a cool karaoke music system, and one of the guys found us a guitar and we sang together! There are also board games. We recommend it to everyone!
