One of the most incredible places I've stayed in my life! We booked the junior suite but then moved to the double queen with sea view room. The views are amazing - it felt like we were in the ocean! The staff was even more incredible than the views with their warm hospitality and friendliness. They went above and beyond for my birthday! I would 100% recommend this place and 100% return!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The villa and rooms are very clean. The pool area is very relaxing and super clean, which you dont always see in the areas hotels. Breakfast is great and big! A bit outside Galle center but easy and cheap to move around with tuktuk. Location is nice because there is no big streets nearby so its quiet and peaceful.

Is perfect if you're looking to stay in a chilled out hostel where everyone is mindful of each other, quiet and considerate. Sam, the owner, is such an awesome guy and will help you out with anything you need. This would be one of the only hostels really giving back to the community around it, and trying to do things here in Sri Lanka the 'right' way. Hope to be back here in the future!

We had an amazing stay here — everything was truly excellent! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive; both the young man and the older gentleman working there went out of their way to help us and make sure we were comfortable. We stayed in a five-person room that had two double bed and one single, plus a shared bathroom. The room was spotless and very cozy. The bathroom has an open-style concept, which might not suit everyone for a long stay, but since we were there only for a few nights, it wasn’t a problem at all. Also, there’s a separate restroom downstairs near the restaurant, which is convenient. Breakfast was one of the highlights — they prepare your eggs exactly how you like them, and there were also warm chocolate-banana crepes, fresh fruit, and various drinks. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with care. The pool isn’t very big, but it’s clean, refreshing, and perfect for cooling off. The garden area is lovely and relaxing, ideal for spending quiet moments outdoors. The beach is about a 15–20 minute walk away — not too close but definitely walkable. On top of all that, it’s an excellent value for money. We honestly paid much less than we expected for the quality of service and comfort we received. It’s a great price-performance option, everything about our stay was pleasant and satisfying 👏🏻

Very friendly and attentive host family! The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The pool is very clean as well. We stayed for ten nights and really felt at home.

Terletak kurang dari 1 km dari Pantai Hikkaduwa, Guruge villa menyediakan penginapan dengan taman, lounge berkongsi dan dapur berkongsi untuk kemudahan anda. When you arrive you get directly a cold welcome drink. Guruge makes your stay comfortable and is willing to do everything for that. It is a lovely man who's making you a nice tea and food just for free. I booked for two nights and stayed up for more than a week. His garden is lovely with many animals and birds just over the place giving you a smile on your face. He explains to you which plants he has in his garden and even lets you try a few of them. His kitchen you can use to make some nice and healthy meals. I have many things to say but it was just an awesome place. Beach supermarket restaurant local and touristic not too far away from a walking distance. Thank you for this awesome week!

Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.
