The location is also good - even though it’s a bit far from the ruins, the way to it is by the lake, which makes up for it! Thank you very much!

I truly enjoyed my freedom here, and this stay has become one of the most unforgettable journeys I've had. The apertment was giant and very clean. We had good functioning wifi and ac. The apartment was the cleanest one we had in Sri Lanka. We just stayed one night- so we unfortunately couldn't explore the beautiful garden they have! The owners even stayed up early at 05 am to cook a breakfast for us! They also recommended a safari guide who was very kind. It was all very unproblematic- we highly recommend!

I was traveling alone and this stay was absolutely incredible. The hosts provided amazing service and genuine care. They arranged a safari for me at a better price than usual agencies, picked me up directly from the accommodation, and came along as company so I wouldn’t feel alone and had someone to share the experience with. They also prepared a delicious lunch and dinner for me so I didn’t have to go out alone. Their kindness and thoughtfulness were truly heartwarming. The place has a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere – I felt right at home. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers!

I spent two nights at the Pearl White Residency hotel with my entire family. The hotel room is exceptionally modern and well-maintained, with immaculate cleanliness. Mr. Sisira was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From the welcome drink to checkout, everything was customized to meet our requests and the weather conditions. The food was delicious and catered to our preferences. He is very friendly and accommodating, providing recommendations for places to visit around Polonnaruwa and sharing his knowledge, which made our stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay near the Polonnaruwa pilgrimage sites.

If “off the beaten track” is what you’re after, this is the place. It’s a farm run by a beautiful family who have a well appointed set up for visitors. We chose this location being somewhat close to Somawathiya National Park. Unfortunately, the National Park is not open to the public so instead we visited Somawathiya Chaitya. A great traditional breakfast is included and our hosts went above and beyond to help us in any way they could. BTW - their English is not good but adequate with the assistance of translation apps.
