You stay in the house of the lovely couple who have two adorable little children. Breakfast and dinner are lovingly prepared. The excavation site of Polonnaruwa is easy to reach by bike. On Binara's recommendation, we went on a boat trip with fishermen, a couple, who even had a small picnic with them. A very special experience. He also arranged pick-ups for us with a reliable driver. We really enjoyed our days at Binara and can highly recommend this family-run accommodation.

It’s surrounded by nature, and we were lucky enough to see elephants and many birds right from the garden! The cabanas are new, clean, and very comfortable, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, perfect for anyone looking to unwind. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. They helped us arrange a wonderful lake safari and served delicious homemade meals made with fresh local ingredients. The breakfast was simple but full of flavor, and every meal felt special. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa and other attractions. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations. We left with great memories and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Polonnaruwa! 🌅🐘✨

The apertment was giant and very clean. We had good functioning wifi and ac. The apartment was the cleanest one we had in Sri Lanka. We just stayed one night- so we unfortunately couldn't explore the beautiful garden they have! The owners even stayed up early at 05 am to cook a breakfast for us! They also recommended a safari guide who was very kind. It was all very unproblematic- we highly recommend!

The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.
