The food and particularly breakfast was tasty. location was amazing. The hotels beach was lovely, and even seemed to have less sharp stones than in other places. The spa was phenomenal! Could not recommend highly enough.

The hotel is located across a small local ferry port, so in 5 minutes by ferry, you can cross to the other side of the bay and reach the luxury marina Porto Montenegro (5km), Tivat Airport (8km), Old Town Kotor (17km) and luxury marina Luštica Bay (20km). I've never been to a hotel before where they give you such considered and personal service. Aleksandra and her team went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Hotel Capitano. The hotel itself is tucked away by the ferry port - and just to say that the windows are good so you can't hear anything. I was a solo traveller and Aleksandra was kind enough to drive me herself to a nearby beach she recommended. Luka was fantastic and accommodating and very impressive with the languages he quickly changed through according to the guests. It's well worth having the dinner on the nights they offer it, the seafood is beautiful. And as a non- Chardonnay- liking person, I loved the Montenegrin Chardonnay! The staff help you find the best routes to the nearby places, like Perast and Herceg Novi, and it's a lovely home base to come back to. I chose this hotel because I saw other solo travellers had found it so lovely, and I'm glad I did the same, but there were lots of nice couples as well. Everyone was very polite and friendly to each other, while letting each other be. I couldn't recommend Hotel Capitano enough.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a lift and free WiFi. The hotel is a great place for a family, 5 mins away from the beach. We stayed there 5 nights in a single bedroom apartment, which is enough for 2 adults and 2 small children. Everything was as advertised - garage spot, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable double bed, pull out sofa bed. The staff was super kind and polite, gladly there for any requests we had. I'm definitely rebooking this place for my next visit.

This place is really great, small but convenient, with a fully equipped kitchen, a really good shower and a very comfortable bed, also a resting area.The surroundings are great too with just 2 minutes walk from the beach and with a supermarket 5 minutes walk and about 20 minutes drive from Herceg-novi. We Highly recommend it!

We had a great sea view and we were able to walk to the sea in 2 minutes. Nina was particularly so kind and welcoming! We will be back.
