- From US$320.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 4,096 reviewsIt goes without saying that the hotel, view, interior and surroundings were gorgeous. What really surprised me it that this hotel is really committed to reducing plastic waste. The three days we spent here were completely plastic-free. The very high-end bathroom cosmetic was in aluminium tubes. There were no plastic bags inside the bins. The water bottles (replaced daily) were glass etc. Honestly, I loved it!Guest review bySylviaBelgium

Arrived in Split on September 2 and stayed until September 21. We rented a car from September 2 through September 12. It was easy driving around through the many cities and into Bosnia and Montenegro. There so much to see, so we touched on some of the National Parks and saw the many waterfalls as we drove up the coast. We stayed at a different location every night. The weather was perfect. On September 13 we boarded a Katrina Line (Majestic) boat and traveled to many of the islands by sea stopping to swim in the most beautiful water I have ever seen. We had tours in several cities to get a better understanding of the history. Overall, this was a great trip to a very lush and beautiful country. They have delicious wine, and the food was very good. I would recommend this as a must-see destination.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 6.0
Dubrovnik, even in shoulder season, felt too touristy.
Dubrovnik, even in shoulder season, felt too touristy. There was no opportunity for individual interaction with local people except for those in the tourism industry. Although all people we interacted with in various tourist establishment were professional, it felt very transactional. Apart from the Old Town and a couple of islands locally, there was not much to do - you can get it all over in two days! Plus travel to Dubrovnik from Zadar was painful - 9.5 hours by bus with 37 stops! It appears that FlixBus in Dalmatia is unlike in other areas - it is more like a local bus service (although we did get fantastic views of the coastline), the bus actually had standing passengers an some prebooked customers had to stand!Guest review byParitoshUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great city. perfect old town and most importantly the promenade was simply beautiful. Just the right level of tourists - did not feel overwhelmingly crowded. Brilliant sunsets. Well connected for local sights such as Plitvice National Park, Kornati National Park, Nin town (not to be missed).Guest review byParitoshUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Old town was nice (smaller than Kotor, but cute). The Citadel has great views, but costs 5,50 euros to just walk up to the wall - it had two closed restaurants/cafes and nothing else to see. We didn't feel it was worth it.Guest review byEmery - 10.0

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.Guest review byVictoria Doncha KnoUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.Guest review byGeraldine - 10.0
The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone.
The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone. Please note the cobbled streets can be a little slippery so fancy high heeled shoes are a No-No! The local people are kind and friendly and everyone is catered for. Little tip:- book restaurants early to avoid disappointment not obtaining a reservation.Guest review byjohn allardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The old town is interesting with the Arena, Castle and the colourful cranes. There are interesting tunnels under the castle on two levels which date from the 1st and 2nd World Wars. There are trains and buses to Roving, Pazin, Labin and the Brijuni National Park. Some good restaurants such as The Jupiter which does Pizza as well as seafood, pasta and grills.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Trogir is a small town which can be seen very quickly. Its ancient and narrow streets are filled with cafes and shops. Very charming and fun to visit. Cobblestone streets and is very lively at night. Huge yachts are docked along the main Riva.Guest review byGeorgeUnited States
