Great views of the mountains, access to the river (not for swimming, though), a lot of nature, and an amazing view of the sky at night. Great to do some outside activities if you are up to (walking, hiking, horse riding, rafting), or just rest in a calm environment. There is a small (really small) village nearby (walking distance), with just a few options of restaurants (no supermarkets, drugstores, etc.), in addition to the restaurant and coffee shop inside the hotel property (which is located around 1 hour by car from Santiago).Guest review byKarenBrazil

Luxury big comfortable bed with insane view across the river and mountain. perfect spot to recover from jet lag. The pool area is beautiful. Deck chairs, lounges with views to the mountain and river. there’s a grass area with lounges, hammocks to sit and read. or with a group you can do bbq. fire pits. also a fire pit on our balcony we cooked dinner. It is easy to reach El Ingenio with a "colectivo taxi" or with "la micro" from Santiago. We need to walk a bit to access the propriety, but the place is lovely and the view on the mountains is breathtaking! Paul is a wonderful host! He was always here to help us in case and to provide advice on the places to visit around. In saying that this place had everything we needed, comfy bed, little kitchen, lounge and hot shower. Just wait a little between you and your partner showers for hot water.
