The Family Premier room had a small living room with a sofa bed, large desk and the bedroom was of decent size. The small kitchen was good for heating up or fixing meals. The apartment was really clean and had a nice city view. Breakfast was one of the best I've had. There were fruits, salads, cold items, hot items - both local and continental, as well as live counter for eggs and noodle soup etc. The items changed every day which kept it even more interesting. Nanjing road was 2 mins away, People square station and park around 5 min walk. Bund was around 20 mins by foot. Hotel is in a quieter location, but near most everything. The staff is polite and courteous and look after the guest well. The best part is the location, restaurants and pub right below the hotel, very close to metro station and great street food area of Yu Yuan Garden yet in a quite lane. They also have a free laundry service which was great for us as it was quite hot and we had tones of stuff from our Beijing trip. You can get coffee and bottled water from the lobby any time you need. Immaculate. Everything is new and in good working order.
Immaculate. Everything is new and in good working order. The rooms are beautiful. The staff so accommodating. We got an upgrade just because, we never even had to ask. The location is perfect. A 2 min walk to line 14 Xeipu station. From here you can access all the attractions. It's quiet here, you can hire Hello Bikes through Alipay. They are about £0.40 for an hour. You can cycle all the way down the park/river edge. No cars there. There is a 7/11 right at the base of the hotel. We had a huge balcony and great views. If I ever return to Shanghai I will definitely stay here. Just perfect. Don't expect great WiFi anywhere really. It's China. The whole country is a bit sketchy for westerners. But it's no bother.
