Very friendly front of house staff, beautiful golf course, very clean and comfortable room with an amazing view. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere. We didn't make use of the restaurant or bar, since there are so many amazing restaurants near by. A few nice walks that can be done from the front door and plenty more to discover a short drive away, too.

The rooms are new and lovely decorated. We arrived late and had booked a diner in the restaurant. The chef was still waiting for us. And what a great chef he is. The diner was super, we really enjoyed, amazing quality and delicious. Nice wines to pair our dishes, wonderful experience. We look forward coming back!

    Lovely beautiful compound of rustic—-yet modern—mountain houses. Lush with flowers, songbirds. Amazing views of the valley and the Pyrenees Lluis and Piluca are such warm and welcoming hosts. Dinner cooked by Piluca was delicious—-4 courses and local wine. Breakfast was bountiful with a variety of local cheeses, charcuterie, jams, fruits and butters.

    Font Romeu was made as a sporting resort in the 1920s.

    Font Romeu was made as a sporting resort in the 1920s. Odeillo further down the hill was the original village. Because of the benefits of the healthy air, originally Font Romeu was used as a place to treat patients with breathing problems. That no longer is the case. Now it is a ski resort and also a summer destination. The views are spectacular and the skiing is augmented by many snow cannons.There are also many rambling routes. There are restaurants and shops but these are quite seasonal and often closed in low season. Font Romeu is also a good base from which to visit local towns and villages, also lakes and even the sea, either in France or, slightly further afield in Northern Spain.

    Not a very interesting town in itself, it is very well located though, and we used it as a base to do daily trips to Les Angles and Font Romeu. During the week most of the restaurants are closed, so make sure to reserve at one of the few that are open.

For environmental reasons we came from the UK via train and it was perfectly located. 1. London > Paris 2. Paris > Latour De Carol 3. Latour De Carol > Puigcerda 4.     This hotel is surrounded by a beautiful nature of Pyrenees forest and mountains. We have been there during the holidays period but in the hotel was relatively quiet. If you decided to go to any of the attractions around you would have to accept thousand people around you wherever you go with kids screaming and shouting for example in the open carriage of the touristic train goes up into the mountains. If you're decided to enjoy a silence and loneliness in the nearby forest this is not your case because groups of people will be sitting on every corner. For me it was very strange because my expectation was that this place is lost somewhere in the middle of nowhere but it was very opposite, thousands and thousands of people everywhere.

    Hotel room was very warm.

    Hotel room was very warm. Had to open the patio door to cool it sometimes. The heaters were off and cold during our stay, but one small area of the shower room and bedroom floor seemed warm. Most odd. The insulation in the building must be very very good. Room temp 22.c during all our stay.

    La Molina had suffered from a distinct lack of natural snow when we visited in January but the extensive snowmaking meant that there was plenty of choice and variety, especially if you used the links over to Masella. The town itself is fairly functional, and the night life would appear to be very quiet but that suited us fine. We saw lots of chamois up the mountains and also a fox

    Easy access from France, we drove, it my son arrived by train without any difficulties. Bourg-Madame has everything you need, a large supermarket just around the corner from the apartment. Able to walk into Puigcerda which was beautiful, especially at night.

    La Molina is a lovely small Alpine resort. Busier at the weekends with Catalan skiers. Lovely family atmosphere, probably not a great Apres Ski scene, but that was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (8 & 5)

    On route to this accommodation, one of our party was in a...

    On route to this accommodation, one of our party was in a crash, badly hurt, hospitalized and his motorcycle un ridable. We contacted booking.com to cancel this booking, they said they would contact the host. We also sent a message to the host and photo's of the damaged bike. We got nothing back other than an acknowledgment from booking.com of our request to cancel. The next day, booking.com message saying, the host hasn't replied. We messaged the host again, nothing. I checked on booking.com, all messages and the booking, have disappeared. 5 days later we are charged the whole fee and recorded as a NO show. We raised this with booking.com, who said they would contact the host. A week later, we had heard nothing. I raised then this again with booking.com, a week later, still nothing. I'm now out of pocket and both parties remain silent. I'm unhappy with both parties
