Lots of history here.
Lots of history here. Best to visit sites/museums early or in the evening - warm evening air and fragrant breezes (we were there in late September and it was still hot in the day). Friendly and affordable, especially off the main tourist places/routes. Excellent food if you look around too. Everyone friendly and all spoke excellent English. Mikonos is very cute but very small, probably two or three days is enough to stay there, more than enough but if you are in a boat could be a different experience. It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent.
