Our flight was at 20h, and check out at 12h, so after check out they let us stay in the territory, to lay by the pool and use the towels, and later we could use a room where you can get ready for the flight: to bath and ect. And also you can make a reservation for tennis game. Everything for free :) very peacefull around pool area, so quiet and relaxing. Also superb breakfast!

In this place we felt like at home throughout our stay. The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful and create a very cosy atmosphere. The room we rented was clean and tidy. Also the restaurant downstairs serves very tasty local food. It is important to mention that this hotel is a great place for a relaxing holiday and to get to know the country. The location is also very good, close to the beach and has an easy access to other cities. Many thanks to the team at the Maistrali Hotel for an unforgettable stay and best of luck to you!

Our five-night stay at this boutique hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and genuine care that it truly felt like we were staying with family. The highlight of our mornings was the outstanding breakfast, freshly prepared for us each day. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a refreshing start, and the homemade pancakes were an absolute hit with our daughters – we would be so grateful to get the recipe! What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. Panos, the owner, is an incredibly kind and caring host. His generosity is remarkable, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, assisting us with every request, big or small. The location is excellen!!!. Located in a smal quiet alley off the main street and accessible to all the sights. The stuff (especially Irene) were kind and friendly and gave us a lot of helpfull suggestions and tips that were always right. The room was big clean and stylish in a magnificent recently restored building. The breakfast was really tasty done with a lot of care. I would definitely recommend it!!!

Still a Wonder

Wonderful Rhodes has amazing beaches, nightlife and history. Its capital – Rhodes Town – once boasted the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.

Although sadly no trace of it exists in the harbour, its Old Town is still UNESCO World Heritage listed. This is because of the magnificent Palace of the Grand Master, a 14th-century castle once home to the Knights Hospitaller.

Just around the coast is Faliraki, the nightlife hotspot with clubs, bars and restaurants galore. Afantou and Kolymbia to the south have long, golden beaches, but the island’s crowning glory has to be Lindos. If you arrive by sea, you could be forgiven for thinking that you’ve reached paradise.

Home to some of the best Rhodes hotels, Lindos is a picture-perfect town with whitewashed houses hugging the sides of a hill that is topped with remains of an acropolis. On the other side of the hill is St Paul’s Bay where the apostle’s boat reportedly ran aground.

Lardos and Kiotari further south have a good range of Rhodes hotels by the beach available on Booking.com, while on the other side of the island Kremasti and neighbouring Trianda (also known as Ialysos) have a good range of watersports and quick transfers from Rhodes Airport.

    The resort as a whole was an amazing experience and the perfect couples getaway. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! We opted for the All- Inclusive package which was well worth the price. Upon checking in we were offered refreshing towels and champagne while we waited, the hostess assisted us in downloading the app where you can make reservations for the various different restaurants that were available on the resort. Our personal favorite was the Tex Mex restaurant we had the pleasure to dine in on Cinco de Mayo. All the bars served a delicious variety of drinks and the bartenders were very fun and friendly . When you go you have to make sure you get a drink from Panagiotis (the one with the cool mustache)! His humor and hospitality were top tier. The room was extremely clean and the sea view was spectacular. If you need anything the staff is readily available and quick to respond. If you are interested in doing things off the resort the staff can assist you in getting a taxi. The bay where most of the cruises start is only a 15 minute ride from the resort. There are also clubs and bars to go to that play all kinds of different music 15 min in the opposite direction. The most we paid for a taxi in either direction was about €27. To sum it up we have zero complaints. When we visit the island again we won’t be staying anywhere but here!!

    Casa Cook is top of the top. A beautiful oasis next to the fantastic nature of Rhodes. Casa Cook has a beautiful area of the small casa’s, an open area with supercomfy sunbeds and a nice bar and restaurant area. During daytime you can have your drinks and food ordered next to the pool as well. The restaurant has a bit of variety for different menus. Our room had direct access to our own small pool (shared with 8 rooms), the hotel has gym facilities and a tennis court (although hard base). The direct pool access was why I was sold for the place when booking and what a decision that was! What we liked the most is the staff. Everyone from the reception to the housekeeping, the restaurant staff, absolutely everyone was sooo! friendly and offered the best service. We’ve been travelling quite a lot but this is definitely on a next level. We would especially like to point out Christopher and his team running the whole bar/restaurant area. His kindness, positivity and phenomenal communication skills did make our stay even more wonderful. Although we did go to see the island, therefore spent some days away from Casa Cook, during our 9-night stay there at no point we really wanted or needed to go away. This tells you something :)

    Good location, clean room, and room services come every day. Great food all the time. The staff are very friendly, especially Nick, the americans one. The pools are so good and clean, my kids love the aqua park with the slides. Pool bar serv drinks all day to midnight. The beach is about a 15 minutes walk from the hotel, but there is a shuttle bus to the beach many times up to 16.30 in the afternoon. Very good activities for the kids and the adults every day in the evening.

    Lots of history here.

    Lots of history here. Best to visit sites/museums early or in the evening - warm evening air and fragrant breezes (we were there in late September and it was still hot in the day). Friendly and affordable, especially off the main tourist places/routes. Excellent food if you look around too. Everyone friendly and all spoke excellent English. A lot more to see and do than beach holiday fun but that was good too. For beaches/coast we also went to Lindos and Symi.

Everything is within walking distance. And if you need to go somewhere further - excellent and inexpensive public transport.

    I adore Lindos and have been visiting for many years.

    I adore Lindos and have been visiting for many years. The people are lovely and the place is a foodies delight. The beaches are lovely and safe for children, as no tides. The glass bottom boat is a must to see some of the other bays close to Lindos and is a lovely chilled afternoon trip.

Similar hotels in the area are separated from their own private beach by a road, so having the beach right next to the hotel is a greate advantage of this hotel! All-inclusive service was exactly as described: great variety of foods, alcohol free and also alcoholic bevarages are served from 10:00 in the bars (including heavenly frappes!), but on some days champagne was available for breakfast. Snack bar also had a great variety of foods. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling and kind! Hotel is nicely designed, lot of areas to relax without being overly crowded by guests.

    We had a great family stay and especially enjoyed the friendly staff, fun pool activities, and the convenient location near the beach. The animation team and pool bar service were highlights of our stay. What we didn’t like was the limited selection of nonalcoholic drinks, the extra cost for water despite having all-inclusive, and the outdated room standard. The beach also had a rocky seabed and unclear water, which made swimming less enjoyable. Overall, a good experience with a few areas that could be improved.

    Close enough to Rhodes Old Town to visit regularly if you want. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Lively, but not rowdy. As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. We all enjoyed this special little bar, its food, cocktails, beer and view of the sunset.

    Note this review is for Stegna, not the main village on the hill. Its really a lovely spot for a beach style holiday. Places for fishing, chilling, enjoying eating, a lovely walk. Perfect chill spot with a family feel. If you are looking for night life and big hotels, this is not the spot for you. We did not know there was a kayak company on site so we had pre-booked with Trekking Hellas so had to drive North to the start but it was a lovely trip with double kayaks.

    All staff amazing except the pool service bar. Not attentive enough, had to go for drinks myself to be told we will come to you then it took at least half an hour! One of the lunches that I ordered eventually turned up and was completely cold, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said it was the kitchens fault! Shame really, the rest of the place and the staff were really good. The on-site restaurants are amazing.

    Pefki is a lovely place to stay, much less buisier than Lindos next door which pulls large number of visitors during the day. Main Lee beach is sandy with plentyfull sunbeds, spaces on the eastern side of the beach otherwise. Very Good choice of restaraunts Nikolas and Tsambikos being our favourites. Car hire with full insurance for a week cost us £190 in Pefkos, necessary for conveniance but not essential as there is a good bus sevice along the main east coast road.

    We were in the Rodos Star Hotel which was up a steep hill and not very close to anything or the Village which was ok but not much to offer. Cost 10.50 euros to get there and very difficult to get a cab back and too far to walk.
