Silvia had all the local information on check in and we were sorry we missed breakfast first morning as it was an amazing with a big selection of hot and cold foods.     Picturesque location! Everything at the property including amenities were superb! The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The room was a good size, with decent working air conditioning (for Italy) with a lovely view from our balcony. The pool area was just gorgeous and felt very private anywhere you choose to sit - with great views of the surroundings. The spa was very relaxing, and you will need to purchase a cap from reception to wear while using. The property is a very short (10mins max) and enjoyable walk to the gorgeous town of San Quirico d’Orcia. We stayed here for one night before a wedding in Montalcino, and only wished we could have stayed longer! It’s a convenient location to visit other towns in the area, plenty of parking on site. The breakfast had a large selection!

    Beautiful and well maintained, kidfriendly agriturismo. Marina and staff were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. We and our children (1 and 3 years old) had the best time. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool, loved to see all the animals at the farm and staff were always sweet to our kids (our eldest was particularly fond of Giuseppe). Breakfast and Tuscan dinner were exceptional. Would love to come back here!

    Pienza is a fantastic hilltop town with wonderful views over the Val D'Orcia valley. It has wonderful streets, restaurants, and historical sites to explore. My morning coffee and croissant in Piazza Magiore will stay in my memory for a long time. You have to go back there and basta :)

    Beautiful Tuscan town. But the two main churches are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, if you can believe it... Better stay in Peinza or Montepulciano. But Sant'Antimo Abbey, 10 kms away, is a world wonder.

    Good town close to many attractions we never got to. Wineries and scenery exceptional. Pleasant and friendly people who help non Italian speaking tourists. So many places within a short distance access for walkers cyclists or car drivers. It's isolation makes it more special.

    Bagno Vignoni is a small, beautiful town. The first time we experience the thermal pool instead the Market Square. Around there are small restaurants with typica Tuscany dishes and typical Italian service kindness. Nearby there are thermal lakes and a lot of wineries with a good San Giovese vine.

    Monticchiello is a great hill top village to stay overnight when travelling through Tuscany. Beautifully quiet in the evening but with a number of restaurants to choose from to suit all tastes. We ate at Osteria Fra Paolino which was exceptional and proved to be the best meal of the 2 weeks we spent travelling from Rome through Tuscany to Florence.

    Just my wife and I, trying to get some feel for Tuscany. We were on a ridge, overlooking a valley of wine fields and olive tree orchards, and looking up at Montepulciano. View couldn't have been more perfect. Ate dinner in town 2 nights at restaurant recommended by host - really practical and delicious.
