We booked a specific family room with a Western bed so that we could experience traditional hanok accommodation without sleeping on the floor (because of mobility problems). The room was so charming and also comfortable. The location of the hanok couldn't be better, in the very heart of Jeonju Hanok Village. I went in the spring and it can get cold at night. Sleep isn’t the best if you’re not used to a thin mattress and bean bag pillow but it is part of the experience. Fair amount to site see...but could do so in a day or two. Moms across the street had great burgers. Fried Chicken and fries plate was unbelievable! Delicious and alot!!! Easy a dinner for two or an appetizer for an entire table. Jeonju had a lot of authentic traditional experiences to learn about Korean culture and make different crafts. We really enjoyed making a pressed flower bukchae, making a traditional hanji paper out of mulberry fiber, and eating at the night market. We visited on a weekend, and it seemed like that was the time to be there, as several vendor tents had picked up on Monday morning.Guest review byBenjamin - 10.0
