TurkeyFirst of all, I highly recommend you read it until the end. An excellent facility on a small and quiet local island full of underwater riches. As soon as you put your feet into the water at the tourist beach, you are surrounded by dozens of different species of fish, but swimming with the fish seen on Youtube is a priceless experience. Mr. Ahmad, the owner of the hotel, is a very polite and helpful person. He is very professional in making all the necessary arrangements for you when you arrive from the capital to the island, in welcoming you at the entrance and when you leave the island. If you want to participate in off-island activities, they will help you as much as they can. You have breakfast as an open buffet at the best restaurant on the island. You should definitely try the product made especially from fresh tuna. Among the 4 hotels I stayed in on 4 different islands during my Maldives trip, this was definitely the newest, cleanest and cheapest. I can guarantee that you will feel at home in this hotel. I would also like to consider that restaurants, off-island activities, and many other things on the island are cheaper than on many tourist islands.
Also; Mahibadhoo may not be the best island in the Maldives, but it is a fact that there are better ones in terms of nature and tourism. But if you really want to relax in a quiet environment, this quiet and tiny island located in the natural wonder South Ari Atoll is definitely one of the best local islands you can find. Never mind that the tourist beach is smaller than some, because there are only a few people on the beach at most, so the beach is yours! I definitely recommend splitting your Maldives holiday across more than one island, as I did, and devoting at least some of it to this island and this hotel.

SerbiaSpacious and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked full board, and the food was very good. Hotel organised a speedboat transfer for us so we didn't have to worry about it. All in all we had a great stay in sands grand and we are sure we will go back.

SloveniaExcellent stay. The host is very responsive and takes care of everything. He helped us with the transfer from the airport and then to the guesthouse. Also helped us book an excursion and was generally always ready to help. They even prepared us warm breakfast on the day of the excursion when we would miss the breakfast at the guesthouse. The guesthouse is lovely, has everything you need. They provide adapters, drinking water, rack to dry clothes, good wifi, you can rent bikes… everything. The breakfast has large portions. Also the location is good, close to the beach and to some restaurants. Our stay at Thoddoo was great!

SingaporeThis is the 5th time we were in Maldive and among all local hotel that we had been through, Belmar beach gives us the best experienced. Below are the reasons:
1. The hotel room & toilet were clean and very functional - I would give a rating of 9 out of 10.
2. We have a beach front room and was very convenient to the beach with beautiful view and lots of privacy, the beach was clean and not even dry leaves, (everymorning there will be cleaner cleaning up all the dry leaves) - 9 out of 10.
3. The in house reef was also another plus point, without the need to travel any place further and we get to enjoy our snorkeling - 8 out of 10.
4. Everyday , we enjoyed our lunch and dinner there because the hotel has a very good chef. We are not easy to be please with food but for this chef , we give a thumbs up - 10 out of 10.
5. Activities - we went for lobster hunt and we had 2 lobster plus 1 fish catch for our dinner. we went for sunset fishing trip and we caught 19 fishes in 2 hours. They knows exactly which is the spot to catch the fish, so Sunset fishing is a must go activities, likewise for Lobster hunting. and we have 4 fishes for our beach front dinner , which was a surprise arrangement by the hotel staff - 9 out of 10.
6. The island is very well located , as most activities are not too far away from the island and that make it convenient without having to take hours just to reach the activity location - 9 out of 10.

South AfricaWe stayed at Aria Beach for our last week of a wedding anniversary holiday. When we arrived and told Sam, our host, that it was a wedding anniversary trip he upgraded us to the duplex apartment at no extra charge. Sam is a fabulous host and has done a great job of ensuring that the rooms are comfortable and luxurious and very well equipped. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and it's obvious that they pay much attention to detail. Sam was in the process of opening up the smoothie bar while we were there so we enjoyed many delicious fresh juices and smoothies. The hotel is right on the beach and has lovely deck chairs set up under the trees right at the ocean. The hotel has a number of lovely areas to chill from the seating in the dining area to the pool to a fabulous 'tree house' deck with bean bags. We highly recommend this accommodation!

ItalyWe had a truly wonderful stay at Horizon in Dhigurah! The guesthouse is cozy, clean and just a short walk from the beautiful beach. Our room was spotless, cleaned thoroughly every day and always perfectly tidy. The overall atmosphere was very relaxing.
But what really made our stay special was the incredible hospitality of the staff. A heartfelt thank you to Mippo and Ahu, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. They were always available, kind and full of helpful advice, from organizing excursions to making sure we were comfortable at all times.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine Maldivian island experience!

We have stayed at almost all of them because the service sets Constance apart from other hotels. The management takes care of all the guests' concerns. E.g. everything was perfectly organised for my birthday. A great menu in the wine cellar of the Jinn Restaurant (special thanks to the head sommelier and the chef who conjured up the menu). The bungalows are very nice, all with their own pool. Housekeeping twice a day who clean everything perfectly. The in-villa dining is perfectly organised. The food is not cheap but very good. The same applies to breakfast and the two a la carte restaurants and the buffet restaurant. Even better at Christmas and New Year's Eve with a great selection and super quality of all dishes. The wine list, whose wines you can enjoy in all restaurants, is breathtaking (over 100 pages!!). The spa is very good and staff also super friendly. A great holiday from arrival to departure. We would especially like to mention Mr Sameera Karunaratne, the Food and Beverage Manager, who checked with us every day to make sure everything was OK. My husband was not so fit for 2 days and Mr Sameera Karunaratne organised a very special meal for us in the villa. We didn't have to ask or pay anything extra for it. An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling.
Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.Guest review byYvetteSaudi Arabia - 10.0

A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. This resort is a nice isolated intimate island, staff is very kind and welcoming, rooms are nice, clean. tidy and spacious, well equipped and services twice a day. Food is mediocre. Activities and attractions are limited - scuba diving is great, the rest of the excursions and watersports are below average and highly priced for the what you get. Our overall conclusion is "insufficient value for money" I have rated it as 4/5 because we've enjoyed our time, but almost any spot at the Maldives is enjoyable with no much effort required from the resortGuest review byRoobsyIsrael
