The hotel really walks the extra mile. Instead of throwing away the excess breakfast buffet, they put it at the lobby for guests to take anytime they want. We arrived around 8pm and were greeted with sandwiches. They give you two access cards to the rooms without asking, four complementary water bottles in the room, 2 plain and 2 sparkling. It's small details like these that cost cents where high level hotels suddently fight over with customers. But these give you more than expected from the getgo. And the rooms are very spacious, with lots of space to accommodate stuff. A pearl among hotels. Congrats!

    Lublin is a fantastic place to spend a city break, it is very safe, the locals are friendly, prices for eating out are very reasonable. Visit the castle, the old town cobbled streets, beautiful buildings, say Hi to people from around the world at the portal, browse the car boot sales near the castle park on a Sunday & if you`re a football fan & there`s a match on while you are there you can get tickets at the Motor Lublin fan shop at the Galeria shopping centre. All in all Lublin & Poland in general is a great place to be.

    Great place for a short break with stylish cultural atmosphere and not to big to be overwhelming. Handicraft and art bits all over the place and a good base to explore nature attractions. Plenty of interesting restaurants and cafes.

    Beautiful atmospheric small old town with great history.

    Beautiful atmospheric small old town with great history. Tour of Zamosc stronghold highly recommended. Also enjoyed town park with great island and peaceful paths. Recommend Wedel chocolaterie in the market square, unique chocolate served. Dined at Zamojska Winiarnia, great choice of local, Polish and Jewish dishes. Beef tartare was a treat. Visited ZOO earlier, although limited number of species but worth visiting.

    Chełm is rather a small but so much cozy town!

    Chełm is rather a small but so much cozy town! It doesn't have skyscrapers which makes it so pleasant place to stay in. It still has cathedrals and sanctuaries, an old town, and nice community houses. A variety of shops offer groceries and anything else you need. Lots of restaurants are waiting for you in the old town. By the way, that area is walk only.

    Nice village with a great big park.

    Nice village with a great big park. Can't stay for too long if you don't want to sit and relax or do the same thing every day. We ended up doing the half-hour-trip to Kazimierz Dolny for three days out of our stay.

    Quiet town surrounded by trees/ National Park/Forest. Ideal for all levels - family, young people, older folks! The National Park has different types of walks/paths that are well signposted, there is a Information Point with a mini Nature Reserve for children, I learnt a lot myself there!!! If you are lucky you might meet a Deer on your walk (we did winter time), lots of birds!!! There are lakes and ponds, and a river! In season local people offer a lot of experiences: organised walks, rides, kayaking, cycling, tree climbing and so on. I like to visit out of season to walk around and . In Zwierzyniec you can visit Brewery where you can taste local beer. Lovely place to be if you like walks in the forest!!

    I've spent only one night in Hrubieszów.

    I've spent only one night in Hrubieszów. And I don't have a chance to walk the streets - only to go through the town and look through the car's window. On my opinion traveler can spend a day or two in Hrubieszów to feel the town's vibes and see it's historical part

    Lublin is still quite underrated city.

    Lublin is still quite underrated city. It has quite pretty Old Town, renovated not so long ago. A couple of intersting churches, an amazing old yeshiva building, interesting castle with good exhibitions in the museum and interesting okd brewery with tours, great open air museum and a lovely park (Park Saski). There is also a lot going on culturally throghout the year (various festivals) so it is dednitely worth a 2-3 days visit.

    We were there at the end of October - highly recommended at this time of year, when there is beautiful autumnal scenery and less tourists. It's a paradise for walkers - lots of gorges, hills and trails - within beautiful countryside. Kazimierz Dolny is an historical old town that has a great character, with lots to explore, and an entrancing evening atmosphere.

    Zamosc is a gem of a city, although there's not so much to see there. Basically it's the central square - with a not hugely interesting museum - a pleasant wander through the old town and the synagogue. The restored synagogue is interesting and has presentations about the Jewish history of the city. It's supposed to open at 10.00 am, but it didn't open its doors until after 11.00 the day I was there.
