The place doubles up as student dormitory and a hotel and had really neat social areas. Things like pool and table tennis available for free. The biggest surprise was the laundry on site had no charge. Just simply download their app and book a machine. Plus that beautiful McDonald's is literally a 5 min walk down the hill.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for their exceptional care, both before and during our stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs and helped organize a surprise for my mom’s birthday. They even arranged for a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was presented to her during breakfast, moving her to tears—a truly touching moment. The property is stunning, intimate, with exposed stone walls, an impeccable design, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic, offering plenty of variety, and I loved the thoughtful touch of cakes, water, and coffee available throughout the day. Such a lovely idea! The location is perfect, right in front of the Douro River. I highly recommend booking a room with a view on the fourth floor! Just outside, you'll find charming riverside restaurants, perfect for both quiet evenings and livelier settings. There’s music in the streets, yet the hotel remains a peaceful haven. I absolutely adored the high ceilings and the overall atmosphere. Thank you for your professionalism and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommended!

    We stayed in the maisonette during our stay and the room was great with an absolutely Incredible view you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere. All of the staff were exceptional and incredibly friendly (Especially Thiago from maintenance!). We generally like to be left to ourselves and although further services were offered by the hotel, we really appreciated the privacy offered and the non-intrusive nature of everything during our stay, although any requests we did have were handled perfectly. The "Le Petit Prince" package for our baby they had in our room on arrival was an also really nice gesture. We've stayed at many nice hotels across Europe, but this has definitely been our favourite and we'll definitely be staying here on our next trip to Porto!

    We had an outstanding stay. The staff was highly service minded at check-in and check-out (Fransesca), amazing view of Porto from our hotel/room and a free upgrade was a very pleasant surprise. The breakfast at the terrace was an excellent start of the day. Yeatman's proximity to the WoW (World of Wine) museum was brilliant and the museum was very interesting in a modern educational setting. We will come back and stay at the Yeatman again.

    Absolutely beautiful location opposite the beach and many great restaurants and bars! A 2km walk to superb beaches and bars on the beach as well as banks and shopping. Rooms beautiful and spacious and the balcony is a great place to view the amazing sunsets! Breakfast was amazing, even offering a glass of Moet & Chandon and oysters - truly decadent indeed!     We booked the apartment for the week . What a beautiful charming city. Great for foodies - so much choice. Very clean - good transport links . We had booked a 2 day trip to Pinhao - Duoro Valley prior to arrival -easy to book train tickets on arrival - what a beautiful train journey stunning scenery and fabulous stay in Pinhao . Porto train station - wow - with fabulous food market next door - great place to eat. Full of charm - fallen in love with this beautiful place - could use a base to travel to other places . Will be back .

    We visited during the Sao Joao festival and although extremely crowded- one of the most magical nights I've ever experienced. Such a beautiful sight to see, thousands of floating lanterns throughout the nights sky and a unbeatable fireworks show at midnight!

    This place gets a well-deserved 5 stars—no doubt about it! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, cozy, and totally like home. It’s huge, sparkling clean, and honestly… it looks even better than in the photos (and that’s saying something!). Usually with apartments that look this good, you think: “Yeah right, too good to be true.” But nope—this one actually turned out to be better than too good! It’s got everything. And I mean everything: coffee machine, iron, washing machine, dishwasher… you name it, it’s there—and all in tip-top shape. We were just the two of us, but there’s more than enough space for 4 or even 6 people to hang out comfortably. And the view… wow. Just wow. Need a room with a view? Look no further—this is the one!

    Vila do Conde is a charming town that is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of a large city, if that is what you are used to, or looking to get away from. There are many good restaurants in the area. We hired a car for the duration of our stay as we wanted to travel further afield whilst adding stops along the way and choosing the most scenic routes.

    I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay near the airport as it was a night time arrival. The suites are just a 5 minute walk from the airport, and also very close to a metro station for getting into Porto. I stayed in a different apartment the night before my trip, however, I wish I had known about these suites as I would also have stayed here the night before my outward journey. Conveniently located is an excellent, traditional Portuguese restaurant just along the street. Big portions, friendly staff - some speak English - and very inexpensive. The rooms are more than what you need, and the shared kitchen area with complementary breakfast are an added bonus. It is also possible to cook in the kitchen as there is a cooker and fridge. A great place to stay.

    We have absolutely fallen in love with Mindelo, not touristy...

    We have absolutely fallen in love with Mindelo, not touristy at all, has a rustic charm, the coastline is stunning, a place to explore, relax and recharge....the food/restaurants in the area are affordable and delicious! The fish and seafood and local dishes alone are a reason to keep coming back....
