We had a lovely stay in the small bungalow, it was very clean and nestled in the middle of a beautiful garden with relaxing jungle vibes. The location was perfect for us: quiet and away from the busy tourist areas. A scooter or taxi is recommended to reach the beach, but it's just a short ride and easy to arrange. The owners also run a restaurant with the same cozy and jungle vibes as the bungalows. The food was excellent, I definitely recommend eating there! We really appreciated the tasty surprise package we received in the morning with some Thai specialties. Everyone we met was kind and helpful, which made the whole experience feel warm and friendly.

We highly recommend this place! If you are looking for a more peaceful place to stay that feels more authentic, this is the place for you. Everything was fantastic for 4star hotel levels, but the service was even better. The hosts made us dinner and helped us with basically anything we needed. The location might seem far off but its a short under 10 min walk to the 7eleven, nearby beaches and restaurants.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We felt so relaxed and at home. The place has everything you need and is located in a quiet location but still close to the center and beach. Breakfast was amazing plus the lunch and dinner options are very tasteful. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by very friendly & smiling staff members. Before checking in, we were taken to a seperate room and given these deliciously cold mango drinks accompanied with cold towels shaped like flowers. When our room was ready, we were given a guide around the hotel and in the end our room. Before going to our room we got to choose for free a small scented perfume to spray on our pillows which I found very nice of them. When we got to our room, the bed had a "Happy birthday" written on it with cut bannana leaves. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by that! In the evening they rang on our door and brought a chocolate cake! I haven't warned or told the staff anything so this was genuinely very sweet & nice of them to do! I will forever cherish this kind gesture! My partner and I will definitely come back to this hotel in the future! We loved it! Our room had everything and a very nice mountain view too. We had many towels, a very nice hair dryier which worked like a dyson, spare toothbrushes, comb, toiletries, a mosquito repellent you can put in the outlet, many water bottles, flip flops, bath robes, beach towels, uv umbrella?, beach bag and so on. We were welcomed with some complimentary snack, fruits & drinks in the mini fridge. Each evening in our stay we were given complimentary french macaroons.

We felt super comfortable in the hotel. The owners were always available for questions and a nice chat. We could rent a bike, got explicit directions and recommendatios and they even helped made another booking for me alone at a later date possible although it was nearly booked-out. Breakfast was great, even home-made yoghurt and lots of fruits. It was very quiet at night. The beach is awesome with lots of shade. There are nice and cheap restaurants just across the street and also shops, a laudromat, etc.

Nice owner, nice staff. Central but quiet location, modern and clean rooms. You can hire scooters on site and there is a communal area which is constantly being expanded. Had a great stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    Visited in low season weather wasn’t great but that is to be expected. Beaches not good for swimming and littered with rubbish. The vast majority of restaurants and resorts were closed. This island has a very different vibe in the busy season.

    It's a pretty rustic, typical old Thai town, the locals are lovely, peaceful people Krabi Airport :-Be sure to have some baht notes if you're taking a driver or taxi to your hotel- there are ATMs at Krabi airport but easier if you have cash The Friday & Saturday food markets are great for Thai foods of all sorts Take a long boat ride from along the riverside - a couple of hours touring the river and surrounds for 50 - 100 AUD Riverside Restaurant and Bar us a good place for dinner Blu Monkey is great little hotel

    It is useful to note that there are multiple long boats and piers to access Railay. The safest route is to the east beach from Ao Nammao pier where you can safely park a hire car for a reasonable cost. If you don’t have your own transport, there are various options such as taxis. I ripped a pair of shorts at another pier which is not a great setup.

    It was a great time - I was there for the Oceanman event so there were a lot of people around for the time and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was jellyfish season, so it was not the best time for swimming in the ocean. But it was still a beautiful area.

    I’m completely biased.

    I’m completely biased. I loved everything and everyone involved in the place. No favourite thing. Many favourite things. Jungle, sea, boats cars tuk tuk and all. Most importantly I had the best guided tours on offer. Thank you. One and all. Appreciated and greatful ❤️

    A quiet area, quite remote with no shops (that I saw) but this added to the tranquility of the area. About 50 minutes from the airport, but worth the trip. We could have eaten at other hotels but were happy with the choices at our resort.

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.
