It was interesting to see the sights, but we felt that the prices were very high. We arrived from Italy which was not as expensive. It appeared to us that Istanbul had been catapulted into the tourist industry by virtue of Turkish Airlines offering free/cheap stopovers, but that the city was not really ready for tourism on a large scale. The tourist info office was very helpful, but the tourist map they gave us was written in Turkish. Corlu is fine but not a tourist place. I was visiting friends. You are asking all these things but give no possibility of actually talking to you to get the problems we had sorted. Nature walks, a lot of nice places to enjoy the beautiful scenery of valleys and mountains, Sapancha is a very nice place to spend a couple of good long days with the family and kids or with your partner. People are friendly and the cafes and shops along the commercial streets are good. The walk along the Sea of Marmara is great - enjoy the sun and the vibrancy. We were there for 'medical tourism' reasons and that was satisfactory.
