We chose the Capitana for our honeymoon in Key West, and let us tell you it was the best choice we’ve made. The vibes, the staff (especially the manager) were amazing, we had a room with a view and it was beautiful. Rooms are super spacious, very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is very easy, and the hotel isn’t far from the old town area by Uber, didn’t cost much to and from it. Music was perfect by the pool and you get a beach feeling by the water.

Diverse Sunshine State of Disney

The Sunshine State – Florida – has so much going for it that we hardly know where to begin! From Key West all the way to Jacksonville and Pensacola, this diverse state has magnificent beaches attracting beautiful people and exotic wildlife.

At its tip are the incredible Everglades, largely accessible only by air boat. East, Miami is known for its Latin American vibe and the Art Deco buildings of glamorous Miami Beach. Fort Lauderdale is nicknamed ‘Venice of America', while Palm Beach hosts the annual SunFest music festival. Panama City is a favourite Florida spring break destination, and Tampa has popular party spot Ybor City and Busch Gardens, one of many Florida theme parks.

The most famous are of course Walt Disney World, Epcot, SeaWorld and Universal Studios Florida. Orlando and neighbours Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista house a wealth of Florida hotels near Disney parks. South-west in Winter Haven is Cypress Gardens, while to the east is the Kennedy Space Centre, on an island by Cape Canaveral.

North is Daytona, best known for high-octane motorsports and a wonderful Atlantic beach.     This is a fabulous resort - we could have stayed for weeks. There are so many activities, multiple pools, and a lovely beach. The staff were incredible - especially Nat for organising everything for us and making sure our stay was special. Also PrayGod who was always there to be helpful. We had struggled with where to stay to explore the Keys properly and this was the perfect location - you can take boat trips right off the dock!

    The main reason we went to Orlando was for Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights and Islands of Adventure. There are plenty of theme parks in Orlando as well as shopping places and restaurants. There's something for adults and children to do. My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our trip. I've been to Universal 3 times, twice as a child and once as an adult. I would go back every year to experience everything Orlando has to offer.

    A pretty good place for overnight stay and price is right. We got great Hispanic food from a local grocery where we were able to get essentials, was recommended a nice taxi service that we called several times and also booked for our 4am pickup to the airport. My favorite place to visit was Miami Beach. Next time I will be more prepared to visit the sites.

I find it amazing that people from all over the United States and other countries come for the beautiful white clean sand. The sunsets are amazing!! It is such a great place for young families.     The location of our rental property was centrally located ( 20-30 min drive)to all of the theme parks. While we only visited the Universal parks, Disney is just around the corner from the property. There are many food venues near the rental, as well as numerous Pubix and Walmarts to pick up any necessities. The kitchen has everything needed for a quick meal at home, if you so desire. The swimming pool was available, although we did not have time to use it. The pool and deck were spotless, as was the whole house. Wonderful stay.

    First time visit, weather was sunny and very humid (Sept). Really liked the bars, diversity of eating places, Truman White House tour well worth it. Lots of walking, sunsets great. Suggets you take the trolly tour first as it has alot of history about KW.

    It was really quiet in September no restaurants or any bars...

    It was really quiet in September no restaurants or any bars on beach except at our hotel which closed early as no one there !!sand really flat & hard & the sea was so rough couldn’t go and the famous speedway was far to expensive to do a drive. So we wouldn’t return to this area.
