- From US$244.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 969 reviewsWe had a truly wonderful experience. The staff, at any hour of the day or night, was always incredibly helpful, kind, and highly professional. Even when we faced a couple of small setbacks, they handled everything perfectly and always helped us find the best solution with patience and a smile. The rooms are simple but very nice, with a relaxed style that perfectly matches the island vibe. After a minor issue, we were given an amazing upgrade: a suite with two bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a view of the pool. Absolutely stunning—we felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish. An outstanding hotel that combines warm hospitality, professionalism, and an authentic atmosphere that makes it truly special. Mahalo a hui hou! 🙏Guest review byRobertoMinelliSwitzerland

Communication from the hotel regarding arrival and additional information was perfect. We had everything we needed and the hotel was close to restaurants, shops and especially the beach. We could walk everywhere and for other travel we used a tourbus. We had an amazing stay and loved our view of the beach. This hotel was perfect for us and great value for money.Guest review byCharlotteNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 32 reviewsThe room was enormous, with 270 degree views over the water round to diamond head. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, the beach, and tour pick-up spots. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed was very comfortable, and we spent many pleasant evenings on the balcony watching the sun set over the water. Extra special find was the coffee shop on the ground floor, their flat whites were superb!Guest review byRogerAustralia

As an elder who grew up in Honolulu and returning after a decade abroad, I noticed that the culture has been watered down even more than I remember before leaving. Covid was probably the death knell of a previous vibrant economy. So sad. I see homeless who are obvious throwaways from other US states with their weird, crazed body motions (auwe!), a government that bends too much to negative forces but not enough to protect the survival of the local population. I left with a heavy heart, a little traumatized, but with deep love of my birth land and resolve to come back after I find a way to stay.Guest review byRenouv - 8.0

We were visiting my son and daughter-in-law, who live on Wheeler Airforce base. Kapolei is 20-25 minutes from Waihiwa so they could easily come to us for dinner (hotel is next to a mall with lots of restaurant options); we were also close to Honolulu (30 minutes) and the Bishop museum; pearl harbor; Honolulu art museum; and the West beaches like Electric beach. North shore about 35-40 minutes. Kapolei is a central location away from the tourist craziness of Waikiki.Guest review byElsaUnited States - 4.0

The property itself is very run down and old needing a lot of love. The construction that was going on was not an issue. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The ac they speak of is a window unit which no where near reaches past the living room/kitchen and bed. The kitchen was not complete with decent cooking pans. I certainly would not stay here again. The only nice thing about this condo was the beach access.Guest review byCharissa - 10.0

The north shore has many beach choices. Def less crowded and great for families. Numerous food trucks and outdoor adventures available. Best time was had at the Waimea Falls area, as well as the Polynesian Cultural Center.Guest review byDianaUnited States - 8.0

Location was exactly what we were looking for away from the chaos of Honolulu. Paradise Bay Resort is a great place to stay, Whiskey Smoke 808 Bar-b-Q is a good value, and Haleiwa Joe's Haiku Gardens is good but pricey. Enough stores and other options to have snacks for the room. Enough beach choices and other activities within a short drive.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Very laid back and chill. NOT Honolulu!!
Very laid back and chill. NOT Honolulu!! We were actually right near Waimea Bay going to Haleiwa was like going to the big city. Would be happy to visit here again. Beaches superb and not crowded (late April). Lots of activities, most especially swimming with sharks (One Ocean Diving). Some nice walks in the hills, too. Another great nearby option is glider planing (Above and Beyond).Guest review byPaulUnited States - 10.0
Beautiful beach, that was the best part.
Beautiful beach, that was the best part. The prices in Hawaii are ridiculous. Very high. The are grocery stores that you can buy your own food and cook if you have a kitchen. Nice people. My fav was the taco truck that had such good fresh healthy food. I would eat there everyday. He was on Kihapai st and oneawa st , late in the evening. Best recommendation. Its mostly safe, some homeless here and there not much in the residential areas. Few bars from high end, to crossroads to Kailua tavern that has the best karaoke bartender you have ever heard. He sings and makes your drinks. Food is ok, if you are a foodies it's hit and miss.. in the restaurants.. Super fun, you can get amazing surfing cheap lessons with Mike and Andy at 808 Surt School by Kamehameha Hwy opposite of the shrimp shack. Lot of great experiences, so much beautiful sun. Beautiful place. We'll be back.Guest review byizabelaCanada - 6.0

This can be a good place to stay you may have to over look some of the issues this location has. THIS IS NOT A JW MARRIOTT don't expect it. Even pricey hotels aren't perfect. The beach is close and turtles do land on it in the evenings. The water is very shallow all the way out to the reef - probably good for beginners. This location is close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and is about the middle of all North Shore points of interest. We did not stay in the room much because we were away seeing the rest of the island during the day.Guest review byPaulUnited States - 10.0
