We keep coming back to this little gem and have stayed in most of the rooms. This time we were upgraded to a luxury suite which was amazing! The staff are always so helpful and friendly and the breakfast is superb with lots of choice. We usually have dinner in the restaurant which is always good value.

Located in the heart of Montagu, this lodge offers non-smoking rooms and a restaurant. Free parking is available. Cape Town is a 2-hour drive away.

Very comfortable and well equipped room Mimosa Lodge offers a guided tour map for Montagu, so we walked for an hour or so and we saw all places of interest which are well described. Super idea and a very nice walk! But the very best was evening dinner: fine dining which has been something else. Wonderful!

The Vic 1906 hotel is in the centre of Montague. Close to shops and restaurants. The Hotel is run by a lovely, kind and caring and friendly family. There were snacks and chocolates in the room. Everything was perfect. Great hosts and a lovely restaurant. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back on our next visit.

Everything!! The location, the property, the decor, the spa, the villa we stayed in….’Stella Villa’, the breakfasts were..…OMG unbelievable, and of course the owners, Randolph and Evelyn. They were just super and very down to earth - the perfect hosts!

This has been the highlight accommodation of our trip so far. The entire location is immaculate. Not an olive leaf out of place! We walked around the grounds and there are so many ways to kick back at this location. You should plan to stay a few hours just relaxing in the garden and the olive grove.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Very nicely equipped and guests are spoilt with rusks and muesli with their tea and coffee. TV and WiFi available and a bookshelf with some super books in. A gas heater and fan are also available and kitchen is nicely equipped. Cottage is nice and close to town - within walking distance. The cottage has a lovely private garden with table and chairs outside. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and highly recommend it.

The location is very good in the center of Montagu. The hotel is a boutique hotel with nice design, a nice garden and pool. The check-in process was very good, the room spacious. All the employees were very friendly. Breakfast is served personally. We got good information on hiking options and a heritage tour in the hotel.

Amazing place with a very stylish interior design. Staff was utmost welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was exceptional - tasty little art works. We shared a long table with 3 other couples staying and therefor had the opportunity to meet interesting and very nice people !
