The location of the hotel is perfect and the beach in front of the hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly, helpful and very thoughtful in every manner. The staff were paying attention to everything small thing which was very impressive. This resort is very aptly named: an oasis of peace and tranquility in a gorgeous spot. The room was clean and spacious, and we could access the pool directly from our patio. The swimming pool is beautiful, with a shallower area for toddlers as well. The he beach was pristine, and we felt safe enough to leave all our belongings on the beach lounge chairs while swimming / taking a walk. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The staff were unbelievable. All so friendly and helpful. It was great to just have a chat with them as they were all so nice. The property has everything you could want!! There was plenty off staff working so the place is kept so well and you are never waiting for anything you need! I don’t leave many reviews but I had to for this hotel!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this part of Sri Lanka and looking for a nice relaxing break as we were after travelling around the country for the first week of our trip!

The beach is a man amazing so clean and good for swimming The pool big enough to swim in really nice pool area. Staff were wonderful. And the room spacious and clean. Great linen on bed very comfortable.

For our second visit to Passikudah we chose Anantaya Resort and we couldn't have chosen better. From the first moment to the end we were looked after by the friendly staff, especially Rishopana and Kanogitha. We booked this resort for a room with direct access to the pool and we were lucky to get perhaps the nicest room. But what makes this resort special is the people who work here. We also spoke with the friendly beach/pool attendant S. and likewise the waiters and cooks at breakfast and dinner did everything they could to make the guests happy. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. My husband was delighted that the waiters here could spin a beer with a foam cap. The room was very nice and clean. The pool was cleaned regularly too. Free sunbeds on the beach. Beautiful beach and walks. If we had not booked another stay before, we would have stayed longer. We will definitely be back here soon!
