My husband and I feel so grateful for our recent two-night, adults-only getaway at the beautiful Prana Maya Island Resort in Placencia, Belize. It was a much-needed pause, and the kindness of the team—from the thoughtful room upgrade to the carefully curated touches throughout our property and stay—made it feel truly special. Our beachfront villa with a private pool, the warm hospitality, world class wellness spa, and delicious cuisine created a restorative experience we’ll always remember. A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful team at Prana Maya for making our stay so memorable. If your travels bring you to Placencia and you’re looking for a peaceful, luxury retreat, this newly opened resort is a lovely option to consider.

Olivia and her husband were soooo helpful and nice. We rarely got good service like that. The beach across the street was so nice. Very quiet, we were basically alone the entire time. We saw starfish, crabs, stingrays and other fish in the water, right near the beach. I Highly recommend this place.

King Lewey's Island Resort is a Private Caribbean island resort. The boat transfer from Placencia to the island is included in your stay. The whole visit was its own experience. The entire staff was friendly, kind, and welcoming from the moment we got there till the moment we got off the boat in Placencia. It was truly a wonderful place.

Nice pool but sea is calm and warm. Great shuttle service into Placencia or local restaurants Loved the space, privacy and peacefulness of the beach suites.

Offering an outdoor pool and a seafront restaurant, Mariposa Belize Beach Resort is located right on the beach in Placencia. Staff was amazing ready at any moment to respond to questions and requests. Beautiful location right on the beach, grounds were immaculate. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Appreciated the complimentary bikes kayaks and paddle boards.

With a restaurant and a pristine beach area, Thatch Caye Resort is located on a private island in Dangriga. This incredible resort offers guests on-site dive facilities and kayaks to explore the area.... This place really exceeded expectations. The location was fantastic. Food was excellent. The best thing was the staff. They were absolutely the best. I can’t say enough good things about everyone I encountered.
