This place was our favorite stay in South Island during our 10 days trip there. It s clean, the view from the little balcony is amazing, it s quiet, location close to the downtown, the staff very helpful and kind. So happy to recommend it to anyone🤍

Situated in the picturesque Canterbury high country, Fable Terrace Downs Resort features all day dining, an 18 hole golf course and a range of outdoor activities. To be honest, we were a bit hesitant to book this property after reading a few low-rated reviews, but thank goodness we did! It turned out to be the best stay of our entire trip in New Zealand. We arrived late at night after a long drive from Fox Glacier. We had originally booked a two-bedroom unit with a special request for two separate single beds in one room. Instead of splitting the bed, the staff kindly upgraded us to a three-bedroom unit! The receptionist was so friendly and even asked about our journey. When she learned how long our trip had been, she offered us a late check-out. Such a thoughtful gesture! The property was spotless! Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every corner felt fresh and well cared for, which made our stay even more relaxing. But the highlight of all was the VIEW!!! Absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to that scenery truly made us feel like we were in a real resort!! Highly recommended! We would absolutely come back to this property whenever we visit New Zealand in the future.

Azur Lodge offers private villas in a secluded part of Sunshine Bay. It features panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu, free Wi-Fi and a private shuttle service. The staff were friendly and very good service Breakfast menu was quality and the canopies and food The drinks wines and cocktails The lodge itself was 6 star and beautiful views from the room

Nestled within 650 acres of breathtaking Central Otago countryside, Millbrook Resort is a five-star retreat where luxury, relaxation and adventure come together. The suite was spacious and had fantastic views of the mountains and grounds. The Mini bar supplies were very good and red wine was delicious at a reasonable price. The shuttle bus to Arrowtown was very useful. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. The meal in the Millhouse was gorgeous. A fantastic place to stay.

The room was nice and big with a sitting area with a fireplace. The bed was very comfortable and the big bathtub was a nice surprise. The location is great since you have walking and biking trails right there with a bike rental place on premise. The restaurant and bar were right on the lake with outdoor seating. You can also take a water taxi right to the wharf restaurants and shops. They also gave you drink vouchers if you skipped daily housekeeping.
