The view from our balcony was spectacular! Would definitely recommend booking a room with a balcony. Watching the sunset was amazing. The hotel in itself was very nice, way nicer than I expected from the pictures. We had a great time, including a visit to the winery, a lovely dinner at the hotel, and a jog through the vineyards.

This is a very cool place. It’s outside Amurrio but if you are in the area it’s a great choice. Hotel is newish and charming and very comfortable, good ac, comfortable bed with good linens, adorable deck with lovely view, good bike storage. They served us a a casual but fine dinner in their restaurant nearby. It’s run by a brother and sister (and maybe a few other relatives) and they were friendly and interesting and kind to us. Very good value in a rural locale.

Ana is incredible, super nice and accommodating. And the hotel even had a lift, which is quite unusual for a smaller place it was super nice!!

They also offer a private parking space, which makes things easier.

Located in Elciego on the Rioja-Alavesa Wine Route, this property features a 15th-century winery. Agroturismo Valdelana offers modern accommodation and a museum. Lovely staff, they organised free wine museum tour + wine tasting for us in the morning.

Offering fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, this charming hotel is located in the town of Murgia. It offers a café-bar, a tour desk and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Great little stopover on our way to Carg the boat at Bilbao. Great value in a nice village. Nice bakery and bar/restaurant in the village square.
