Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. Great location in that part of Iceland with a great view. Specious rooms with private bathroom and a lot parking spaces. Rooms with shared bathroom at lower price are available as well. Very good breakfast and a small bar if one wishes to enjoy his time there with some drinks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. The location, service, and rooms were all impeccable. The dinners were even better, with Michelin-starred quality food.

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. Had one stay here. What a beautiful area. Was extremely satisfied with the room -- the pillows were actually really good! The breakfast was phenomenal.
