Lovely to see the inside of this gorgeous Newari house. Quiet at night (but busy during the day), nice and flexible staff, just by a cute and lovely village square and temple. Very lovely inner courtyard and wood carving exhibit.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. Devo dire, mi è piaciuto tutto. Very quiet! Probably one of the best places I stayed during my 2-3months in Nepal. Breakfast is at this gorgeous restaurant next door. If you are there on Saturdays there this really cute farmers market. At night there is a guard out so it feels very secure

Karma Boutique Hotel is set in the Thamel district in Kathmandu, 1 km from Hanuman Dhoka. Guests are offered the on-site restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and extraordinarily helpful. The hotel only has a small amount of rooms, which makes the place tranquil and cozy. A great place to rest up during your stay in this busy and chaotic city. We had a lovely stay and we can't recommend them enough.
