The dinner was amazing - there was a station where the staff prepares a small dish on the spot for you. The onsen was eye-opening to say the least. It is located beside a stream / forest, and it was refreshing to soak in the onsen while listening to the stream flow by.

Kashintei Shirahama terletak di Senboku, 15km dari Mata Air Panas Nyuto dan 49km dari Stesen Morioka. Absolutely fantastic stay! I spent 2 nights and everything was great. The room was very comfy and the onsen was outstanding. The dining experience was one of the best I've had during my trip. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious with a wide variety of great dishes. Special thanks to the staff, especially the person who served me during meals for their dedication and patience in explaining everything to me. Next time I visit I promise to improve my Japanese!

We felt like home in this resort especially the natural onsen. The surrounding nature/mountain is lovely. Breakfast and dinner sets are delicious and fulfilled.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location right across the street from the lake. All rooms have lake views, and the private onsen does as well. Sunsets from the private onsen, sunrises from our room - pure bliss. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. This is one of the places we will return to again!

LOVED the breakfast spread and the access to onsen. I went at an early hour and it was very peaceful. We were able to see sakura from the window of our room. We only stayed one day but enjoyed our stay!

Yokote Central Hotel terletak di Yokote, 24km dari Stesen Omagari dan 33km dari Shigarai Ski Area. This is old hotel but you can see they did upgrade some facilities. There are smart TV and ceiling in hotel room. Room is clean. They also provide free curry for dinner.

Tazawako Lake Resort & Onsen is set in Senboku and offers a hot springs bath. Guests can use the ski storage space and enjoy the on-site restaurant. The hotel staff is very nice and will help to carry our luggage as there are stairs to the lobby. The breakfast and dinner served is delicious and included some Akita famous food. The onsen is very nice as the area is very peaceful! Totally recommended for people who want to travel to Akita.
