Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Tutto, l'atmosfera magica ci ha fatto sentire in un film; la stanza è più una piccola casetta su 2 piani con 2 letti comodissimi al piano superiore mentre al piano terra un salottino con televisione ed una piccola console di giochi nintendo retro che ti riporta indietro nel tempo. Dal salotto si accede alla propria onsen privata che è la ciliegina sulla torta della stanza. L'hotel dispone inoltre di 3 onsen a disposizione degli ospiti alle quali si può accedere in coppia (particolare non da poco qui in giappone). Tutto lo staff molto gentile e con una buona conoscenza dell'inglese il che ci ha reso facile l'ambientazione.

Posizionato a Takasaki, a 28 km da Parco della ferrovia storica del Passo di Usui, Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 mette a disposizione biciclette gratuite, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un giardino e una sala... While the location was a bit out of the way (roughly 25min drive from Takasaki station), it was in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom. The room we had was the biggest out of all the places we stayed in Japan, was clean and comfortable, and had a private garden with covered deck and outdoor bath, which was absolute bliss after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The hospitality shown to us by the staff was exceptional, and we had no problem communicating through limited Japanese/English. They served traditional meals, which were beautifully presented and a delight to eat, having small servings of lots of different things. We made use of the free bicycles and had a great time exploring the area while getting a bit of exercise.

Ubicato a Kusatsu, a 45 km da Parco delle Scimmie di Jigokudani e 14 km da Mt. Where to begin … ? After 5 crazy days in Tokyo, i went to Kusastu in order to relax and soak in the thermal hot springs. Staying at Watanoyu Annex was the best decision ever. Miki and her husband run this beautiful establishment (perfect combination of traditional & modern). Miki speaks perfect english and will immediately make you feel warmly welcome. I got lucky enough to get a room facing the river … this relaxing sound would get me to sleep like a baby every night. After visiting all the onsen of Kusatsu, it was always a pleasure to get to the hotel’s onsen for some quiet time before dinner! You would get a fresh set of towel & a yukata (kimono) everyday, as well as a toothbrush & a pair of socks. Finishing with the sauna and cold bath got me so relaxed every time ! Miki’s husband will cook the most incredible breakfast & dinner for you ! Some of the most tasty and poetic meal i’ve ever had… The tasting menu will be printed for you ! Such a nice attention ! I really enjoyed the tiny flower bouquets in every corner of the hotel. So subtle and poetic. The real japonese elegance ! They are really devoted to their business and it shows. I cant wait to come back with my family for some more relax time :)

Posizionato a Minakami, a 36 km da Comprensorio Sciistico di Gala Yuzawa, Minakamisansou mette a disposizione il WiFi gratuito e il parcheggio privato gratuito. The food was absolutely incredible. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Absolutely beautiful location. Just a great atmosphere and the hot spring was fantastic.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Location, comfort, and service were all excellent. The Ryokan was equipped with very good facilities. Private onsens were available as well, although you need to take turns to use one of the 4 shower rooms.

Ubicato a Kusatsu, a 47 km da Parco delle Scimmie di Jigokudani, Soumeian propone un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una sala comune. Questo ryokan a 3 stelle offre un deposito bagagli. Lovely Ryokan on the fringe of Kusatsu Onsen. Nice quite location but has a 7/11 across the road and a couple of eateries nearby. In house onsen is a great addition, and the Japanese breakfast was filling and delicious.

Situato lungo il fiume Houshi, all'interno di un edificio in legno risalente a oltre 100 anni fa, presso l'Houshi Onsen Chojukan, che offre una vasca termale pubblica con acqua calda, sistemazioni in... Very special place. Worth the money and travel.
