Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. The place was beautiful. My only regret is not taking the in-house breakfast and dinner.

Furthermore, when my mother accidentally left her trousers in the room, the staff promptly packed them in a lovely manner and provided excellent service. Highly recommend this reasonably priced hotel in Kyoto.

The staff are extremely helpful, be it with recommendations for restaurants or reservations. The Japanese breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a quiet side street about 15 minutes walk from the main train station. Bus and train are nearby. The private Onzen next to the bath room guarantees a relaxing break after a full day of sight seeing.

Feels very authentic. the property is very clean and well-maintained with love. Easily reachable and with good connections per bus or train. In the heart of Kyoto. the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and they guide you through your experience of a more traditional Japanese stay. Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. The staff are very nice in help you to park the car and taking photo. The hotel is very close to the two famous onsen. The dinner and breakfast are rich and traditional.

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. Amazing place to stay, extremely recommended. A really great experience in general - I stayed in one of the suites and could not have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful place to stay, only a short walk from Okunoin Cemetary and an easy walk to the rest of town. Very close to the bus stop from Koyasan Station. Staff were always helpful and the meals were unbelievably delicious and satisfying, even though I needed to ask for a soy-free modification. The best food I ate during my stay!

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. We only stayed one night but it was worth it. We were looking into a traditional Ryokan experience and that’s what we received. The complete staff was super kind, they welcomed us, received our bags before check in and later when we came up they welcomed us with tea and local sweets. In the night we had our kaiseki dinner (13 courses) it was a lot but definitely an experience to remember. Not good tho for sensitive paladars, be prepared to eat everything. The girl who served as our host was super nice and explained us everything. The private bath was also a highlight. We loved every second.
