I can’t even believe this place. Room is good for 4 people. You basically have a house to yourself. There is a private onsen with Fuji views. The views of Fuji in my living room and dining room are crazy too — amazing!! Also, everything is very well thought-out!! Omakase dinner and breakfast are chef’s kiss ✨ Staff is super helpful — they even helped map out my route from the ryokan to Osaka. The floors are heated — the water is never cold (I went in winter). You even have a little garden to yourself with a table and chairs outside so you can look at Fuji while drinking tea. But I would recommend that in Spring lol as it’s super cold in winter outside.

Breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Highly recommended!

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Normally I do not put a lot of effort into writing a good review, but Lakeside Hotel deserves an exception because it was that excellent and unforgettable !! The service of this family hotel is unlike I have ever seen. Best example: the hotel owner went with us to the train-station to make sure we got the last 2 seats on the bus we needed to take. And friendliness is taken to the next level by the whole staff! Now the hotel itself. If you want to experience Japanese culture in a hotel setting, this is the place to go. We recommend the Japanese style room! Waking up with an impressive Mount Fuji view is something else :) The Onsen is also incredibly relaxing. After a long day cycling around the lakes chilling in a thermal bath is just what you need. It is accessible for everybody in the hotel, and it’s naked. No worries, men and women are separates. But believe me, it’s worth it to set your self awareness aside and let those butt cheeks free. The breakfast was amazing. It’s super Japanese. You feel like you are in a manga. And it’s all homemade. And when you eat you have again an impeccable view of Mount Fuji. Location wise it’s also amazing. Close to a bus stop where all the hop on hop off busses passes. So easy to go everywhere. Amazing Japanese restaurants in the area and the lake views are amazing. A short stroll from the hotel and you can see the reflection of Mount Fuji in the water. When you choose to visit Kawaguchiko, go to the Lakeside hotel and you will have an amazing stay!

Onsen spełnił nasze oczekiwania, mały, przyjemny. W sam raz, żeby się zrelaksować po wędrówce. Śniadanie bardzo dobre. Pani opiekująca się nami była cudowna i kochana, bardzo pomocna o każdej porze. Bylo widać, że bardzo się stara. Z pewnością odwiedzę ten obiekt ponownie przy kolejnej podróży do Japonii jak będę się wybierał w pobliżu Fuji.
