The apartment is great - every detail has been thought through, the quality of the finishes is outstanding but it's the view that we will remember the most. The apartment is high up a cliff and you feel in the middle of nowhere but yet it's an easy walk to the nearby beach or a bus to Shimoda. We enjoyed the BBQ facility for a cooked breakfast as well as the sauna after a long day walking. We didn't see much of the staff during the stay because there was easy self check in but when we accidentally left something behind in the room they were quick to help arrange for it to be sent to our next stop. We would love to stay again.

The Nomad Inn Gujo si trova in zona Gujo Hachiman a Gujo, a 46 km da Gero Station, 100 metri da Rensho-ji Temple e 100 metri da Joinji Temple. Host Masahiro, an easy going person and quick to respond to all queries. Nestled in the old district and within distance to all attractions in Gujo. However the stairway going up to the bedrooms is steep and a challenge to older folks. Otherwise a beautiful ryokan to experience Japanese living.

This is a modern, beautiful little house with many comfortable areas, a fantastic washing machine and dryer, a charming garden in a quiet beautiful neighbourhood of Takayama. The wi-fi works perfectly, I had to work remotely and had no problems at all. This was our best stay in our trip to Japan.

It was AMAZING. We arrived after our chilly hike along the trail to a very warm and inviting traditional home. It was stocked with tea, coffee and drinks in the fridge, as well as some snacks. There were so many different areas to sit and relax in the home, we felt soo welcome and at home we did not want to leave. This was a stark contrast to our Air bnb we had in Kyoto where we felt we could not relax or enjoy the property. The sleepy town was fun to explore, the cafe next door was also very warm and welcoming filled with music and warmth. And the beds!! Being 6 months pregnant I was a little worried about the traditional futons on the floor but it was the best sleep I has the whole 3 weeks in Japan. I also appreciated the number of chairs for me to sit in. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.

There was air conditioning for every room, including the living/dining/kitchen, which worked effectively although the weather was very hot (up to 36C during the day). Most importantly for me, the house had a car parking lot.

I enjoyed my breakfast on the balcony and also watched a parade go by from up there.
