Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. If I could give 100 stars to this ryokan, I would do it! It was absolutely stunning experience in Nagano, the whole family and staff are extremely friendly, kind and polite. They receive lots of international travelers and they understand tourists needs. You MUST book dinners and breakfasts with them! It was amazing experience! On a practical note: rooms were authentic, hot water, heater were reliable. Location is superb, close to the temple and delicious snacks. This place is ideal for alternative travelers interested in local tradition and with the appreciation for culture and history: I wish the owners only the best customers!

Hakuba Third Place Lodge offre una sala comune a Hakuba, a 13 km da Tsugaike Ski Resort e 40 km da Stazione di Nagano. I’ll write this in English such that everyone could possibly get my opinion. This place is surprisingly good, it has a great location Goryu Escal plaza within walkable distance (appr. 6mins). And Goryu is the only one resort which has the night operation hours, so take advantage of that. Plenty of food options near the lodge. I was traveling alone and I had my good dining every night, get some local foods and beers what a great combination! Speaking of combo, this place has two Onsen (Hot tub) one private with little of extra charge and one public. It’s just a wonderful thing to do after days and days of skiing or snowboarding. For those who didn’t drive you should be fine as said this place has great location so you will be able to get back in multiple ways. Akira, the owner of this lodge and a skater from Tokyo, was being super helpful and informative to every of his guests, his crew members were very friendly it’s just a home place to stay at. They pick you up and drop you off at the nearest bus/train stop. They provide traffic information, map handouts, and discount tickets. Thanks to this place gave me the most impressive experience during my first visit in Japan. Arigato！

Posizionato a Nagano, a 1,3 km da Tempio di Zenkō-ji e 2,4 km da Stazione di Nagano, SAUNA VILLA 然 mette a disposizione un giardino e il WiFi gratuito in tutta la struttura, oltre a un parcheggio... Easy to check in. Rooms were very nice. Pictures don't do the place justice. Complementary amenities and even drinks. Very comfortable stay.

Ubicato a 21 km da Comprensorio Sciistico Ryuoo e 32 km da Parco delle Scimmie di Jigokudani, Snow Palace Nozawa propone camere a Nozawa Onsen. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Venue feels brand new and very clean. Location is close to town, shops, restaurants and the slopes.

Staffs are always friendly and helpful. Pick up service was good, reliable and flexible. Although shared bathroom, it is not quite busy. And shower, toilet and sinks are separate, which is good. Vibe is nice, people lives in the same hostel will always gather around the fireplace and share their day or their culture.

Very good location, next to bus station! It’s a strategic base to explore the area. The room is spacious. Staff members are very friendly, energetic, efficient and helpful.

Ubicato a Karuizawa, a 20 km da Honmachi Machiyakan, Eau Sol Vert Karuizawa Club propone un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e un ristorante. Second time stayed with this hotel. Still nice and cosy. Great place to see some whild animals.

A 23 km da Parco della ferrovia storica del Passo di Usui e 7,1 km da Stazione di Karuizawa, 木漏れ日ハウス si trova a Karuizawa e offre un giardino e una terrazza. Nice House with facilities. We're satisfied with our stay so much.

A 20 km da Honmachi Machiyakan, Compass Duo offre alloggi climatizzati dotati di patio. Tutto nuovissimo e pulitissimo. Piacevole odore di legno nuovo sparso per tutta la casa. Vasca con temperatura controllata elettricamente. Molto luminosa e spaziosa. C’era persino un angolo giochi per i bambini. A due passi da Harunire Terrace, con cafe e ristoranti.
