She is very generous to offer her personal home to travelers. We were recommended a hike that happened to be at the end of her street. The views from her house are amazing. A wonderful experience.

Situated in Windwhistle in the Canterbury Region, 3.3 km from Mount Hutt, Mt Hutt Lodge features a seasonal outdoor pool and ski-to-door access. The motel has water sports facilities and a ski school.... The owners are absolutely wonderful. Dinner at the lodge was a highlight. We just passed through, so did not really explore the surroundings much.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve, this holiday park features a coin-operated laundry and gas BBQs. This is a lovely top 10, and a great example of the brand. Staff are friendly and helpful.The facilities are modern, clean and useful, comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen for those cooking for themselves The location is fantastic, walking distance to the spa and eateries and not long drive to the adrenaline fueled activities on the river

Settlers is a 5-star boutique motel offering comfort and privacy, in the village of Hanmer Springs. Friendly staff, comfortable room w kitchenette. Spotlessly clean, even the grout in the shower, which is grubby in most other places. Walking distance to the hot pools, shops, and restaurants. Lots of lovely touches, like Band-aids, a hot water bottle, and an umbrella.
